I got constipated last time but nothing a little colace wouldn't manage. This is a whole new level of constipation. I blame the Zofran, and my difficulties drinking enough water.

Zofran plus not getting enough liquid was my issue too. I started eating more soups, chicken noodle went down easy enough, and fruit juices cut with water. I tried eating more veggies but took it too far. Gas/bloat plus constipation and nonstop nausea was one of the worst pains ever. What finally helped was cutting back the zofran. If I didn't have to be at work I didn't take it. Absolutely nothing worked for me 100% while I was taking it. Sorry I'm not more help.
I had it pretty bad the first time around. I definitely noticed a big difference the days I worked out. Walking, elliptical, etc got things moving for me. It's mild right now for me but I need to at least get in a walking routine, for many reasons.
The iron-in-vitamins was huge for me. I had more constipation issues last pregnancy than this one so far (knock on wood) and I think taking a gummy vitamin this time around has helped. I just try and get iron in my diet through food instead.
Also, this may be TMI, I have to have my cup of coffee in the morning and give myself a little time to go before getting my day started. If it doesn't happen in the a.m., it's not going to happen that day.
I take fiber gummies once or twice a day depending of if I need it and now I make bran muffins frequently to up my fiber. Water and exercise helps but man its tough. Maybe try lots of 'p' fruits in there? Prune juice?
Yeah, this went far beyond a walk and some prune juice. I haven't pooped in close to a week and even then it was tiny little rabbit poops that took forever to pass.
I have felt like I am walking around with a metal rod up my butt.
I just took a glycerin suppository but so far no luck.

Yup. That's the point in which the nausea became the lesser evil. LT for commiseration. Hope something, anything works for you soon.

A spoonful of Dark Karo syrup. And stay close to the bathroom
calindi oh bless your heart. So glad you were able to go. I remember when I was hospitalized around 20 weeks last time, the constipation got really bad and I had two suppositories and two enemas (one courtesy of a nurse and the other my mom). Definitely a low point of my adult life.
Miralax is safe and is a lifesaver, but you have to take it every day and it is not an immediate fix.
Apple juice has been getting me going.
Yeah I just started today with some kind of fiber supplement to hopefully stay ahead of this problem going forward. There was no amount of laxative that was going to help though. It was totally blocked up and stuck - the glycerin suppository did nothing. It was either this or the hospital, and I figured I'd rather do it myself than have someone else do the same thing. Unpleasant but so much relief!

I figured the glove might be less messy than the enema. Plus LO was sleeping and I am home alone so I couldn't go out to buy one anyway. That sounds like it was brutal!
