Is this suit too mammaw? I think it's pretty, but I tend to dress like an 80 year old. Also, I think it looks great on this model- but what about a short pale person? Is it too dark/busy? Im kind of scared I would look "swallowed" in it. I've never bought a suit without trying it on first
It's "meh" for me. It does have a bit of a granny flavor to it. But it does look like it would hold everything in and be very supportive to the boobs. I suggest going to stores and trying on suits.
Ok, I know I'm annoying, but one more question. I do like the second suit, but I'm wondering if the short skirt is going to hit me right at my thigh's widest point and be unflattering. This is a tankini and I have a skirt about this length (got it for 1 time use at the end of last season when I was at my heaviest). But question is- longer skirts like this, do they look funny on younger people? I'm not super overweight, but my problem areas are spread out so I feel like I need coverage in multiple areas. I just mention it, because just glancing at me, I don't look that big so I worry about looking silly like I'm drowning in fabric. (But up close, I definitely need the coverage!)

Most skirts tend to scream grandma to me. Unless it's like a bikini with a skirt, but then that says toddlers in tiaras and I don't think that's the look you're going for. Personally, I think classy coverage is great, but you should rock whatever suit you buy and feel comfortable and confident. My cousin would always wear shorts over her suit into the pool. I think she felt better being covered up, but wet cotton clinging to anyone's thighs isn't a great look. And, then all the aunts would be like "take your shorts off, that can't be comfortable." So, for her, less was more.
I'm failing at explaining myself....
To;dr Buy a suit that you love, but don't worry about covering up every "problem part." I bet it's worse in your head!
I think wearing a skirt suit looks like you're insecure and actually draws attention to the places you're trying to hide. I like the second one best though. I would sooner just do a regular suit and wear a cover up or something.
Second suit is the winner. I like the cut of the first one but the pattern is too granny. I also tend to think skirts draw attention to the places you are trying to hide.
