+1! Except for it's just the one kid. Raf randomly LOVES monkeys so we're going to do it at the zoo. I'm actually really excited, I've been on Pinterest all day.
Our babies are too little for planning parties, right? Right?! I'm in denial that she's working her way to 8 months. Her party will be twinkle twinkle little star brunch
Me too! 9/10. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I need to figure out how the hell to make a Mickey cake.
Mickey Cupcakes. Super Easy - Google it.
Also, totally not planning a party for Cal. Are we bad parents?
I'm really torn on wanting to stay here until after his birthday so we can celebrate with all the friends we've made here, and wanting to move to Texas before September, so I have the excuse of not knowing anyone to NOT have a party (we are somewhat in control of when we move, as our lease here is until end of Sept).

I vote for party in Texas. Dani and I will attend.

I don't like making cupcakes I actually have fun going all out on the cakes but the ears are scaring me a little. I don't like black frosting and fondant is hard for me.
And no, not at all! Jack's first three birthdays were no big deal - we did family only, take out, and I made the cakes because I like to make cakes. But he's turning 4 and has started going to birthday parties so it's a big deal to him this year. I'm not doing two bdays in 2 weeks so Colin by default is getting a big party.

I've seen some where they use dark chocolate frosting instead of black. Whatever you decide - make sure to AW photos here!

I booked a photographer for her one year photo shoot and family pictures in August but that's about it lol. I have a pinterest board for ideas for her 1st birthday and a couple potential dates in mind but nothing set in stone.
I'm not much of a theme party planner. They're so cute but I don't like putting in the time & effort. We will likely just have family over for a lunch BBQ and cake. I've already decided she's getting the Micky Mouse Clubhouse Little People set.
DD birthday will hopefully be better planned then DS 1st birthday where I threw up some cheap decorations and forgot to order a cake. Bad mom award right here. We will only invite immediate family and a few family friends so it will be small and likely a BBQ. She's a 9/11 baby so maybe I'll do an America theme plus I can probably score big on clearance decorations. I'm not a party planner and I don't see the need to spend money on something she won't remember.

I thought I had Mila's party planned but now that she has fallen in love with Little Einsteins I feel like we are going to have to shift gears on the theme. She is so cute smiling and holding her little hands up by her mouth with excitement when that show starts!

I just decided last night that I want to do a big first birthday. I did one for J, but kept it family only since then. So I'll do one for H. I am going to spiral on Pinterest for themes and plan it at our new house. It'll be good motivation to get it all fixed up quickly.
