How is it already this time??? AB started crawling last night. She is currently on my hip so I can do a little cleaning. She is all over the place this morning. Anyone else entering this joyous phase of freedom?

C does sort of a cross Btwn crawling and dragging himself around. He's not as excited about his mobility though- he still whines and pouts for me to hold him.

We're right on the cusp. She's learned she can roll around to get to things faster now, though. But she's definitely pulling knees and pushing on toes.

colinsfebmommy, he CAN roll from belly to back, I've seen him do it. His teachers at school said he went the other way ONCE. he'd much rather be a lump on a log though hahaha. He's actually happier sitting up and he's gotten pretty good at that one. Except he won't move from sitting either. He'd rather stretch his arms out and scream to be picked up hahahaha.

Not crawling here yet. Rolling all over the house, planking, humping the air, and as of yesterday she is getting on her hands and knees but only for a little bit and she doesn't move at all.
I think it sorta scares her when she gets up there haha, because she doesn't really know how to get back down without face planting.

Ditto - he just started getting better at sitting this last week. Now he either wants to be sitting or standing (with us holding his arms). Doesn't try to roll anymore - just lays there and yells to be moved. I've seen him roll both ways - he used to roll belly to back all the time and now, nothing.

I'm waiting for E to be able to sit up without me worrying about her falling over and whacking her head on the hard floor. She's working on it, and can sit just fine with assistance, but man, when she loses control, she LOSES CONTROL.

Haha. Ophi still falls a lot but she is surprisingly graceful about it. Only once or twice has she gone straight backwards.

Maybe she would be if she allowed herself to touch the floor for more than 15 seconds. She can pull herself up to a sit and then into a stand by holding our fingers. She is also able to lift her left leg and take a step (but not her right yet), so she's totally strong enough, just refusing to. That said my 1st was the same and only crawled for like a day and then went "eff this" and just walked around the edge of stuff.

I stick the boppy around K when he's sitting on the floor. If I don't do that he'll fall over a lot quicker, but I noticed with the boppy he'll fall but not so far over that he can't pull himself back up. plus it's really good padding!
flyliceandcoffee, Mine will roll from back to belly and only occasion roll belly to back.
+1 she's constantly going back to belly but has only gone the other way once or twice. I'm hoping she masters it soon because she hates when she ends up on her stomach.

This is my DD the last week. She has only been able to sit on her own for a few days, but now that's all she wants to do. Lay her on the ground and she won't roll, but she will do crunch to try to sit up. It's like an upside down superman move. I'm sure there is an actual exercise term for that move, but yeah, I clearly don't work out!

No crawling here yet. She does roll and pull herself all over the place though. My other 2 kids started crawling right after turning 6 months. I'm totally ok with her not wanting to follow in her siblings footsteps.

We are very close, but not quite there yet. My daughter just can't seem to figure out how to get her knees under her. She does lie on her back and push herself across the hardwood floors if I take her socks off of her feet out of her jammies. She can roll pretty much anywhere she wants to go too. I learned that when I left her on her floor mat so I could take a quick pee and returned to discover her 20 feet down the hall. She likes to throw her toys and then roll after them.

This is exactly what Z does too. But no crawling yet.

Allie is SO close to crawling. And she scoots and pulls herself everywhere. She's started to get on all fours and rocking, so I expect it is coming soon. She turns 8 months next week, though.

Ab is 6 months. This is crazy. Her big bro had an appointment today and they were saying how advanced she is as they watched them play together! I just need her to slooow down!
W has been army crawling for a couple weeks while A started rolling around like crazy. Today W got up on hands & knees but didn't go anywhere (any day now, I'm sure). A is SO CLOSE to army crawling! He is reaching, shifting his weight, and digging his toes into the floor but can't seem to make any progress yet!

She's mastering sitting and now tummy time is NBD because she just rolls any which way she wants. She was showing some crawling readiness but since we've discovered sitting that has disappeared. Maybe once the wonder of sitting wears off? She did a couple baby push ups the other day but that's it

This morning we found our way to the baby monitor and started swatting at it. Now we're happily laying on our belly kicking our feet watching Octonauts.

My first three crawled late. I think #3 was the earliest crawler at like 9/10 months. All Liv wants to do is plank/push her belly up. Constantly. So I theorize she (6 months tomorrow) will be earlier. Still doesn't sit up or seem to care at all. All belly/planking/rolling all the time.

This is us! Still rolling over here with an occasional army crawl.
