I have wicked bad mommy brain. Seriously. It's bad. I have to set multiple reminders on my phone and I still forget what I wanted to do if I snooze the alarm. I will tell myself to do something, step in the next room and forget what I was going to do.
Help!!
I think I may look into those brain game apps. I need to sharpen up... It's that bad. I'm sure they're all gimmicks.
I feel that way too. I think it gradually got better as DS1 got older and I got a little more sleep, but it's tough to remember through the fog of my current mama brain .
Repeat things in your head. To a tune. It helps sometimes. Or sing it/chant it out loud to LO. These are the tricks that have helped me. Sometimes. Sometimes I just forget and wander aimlessly.
In that case, I recommend one of these on your forehead, depending on your level of sleep deprivation in case you wander outside:

I've been feeling it too! I finally bought myself a planner to go in my purse which has helped a bit. I'm just so forgetful about everything lately it seems.

Me: 27, DH: 26 / TTC since June 2011
HSG 12/2012 - both tubes blocked; hydrosalpinx x 2
9/2013 - bilateral tubal ligation
6/2013 - IVF #1. Follistim, Ganirelix, and Menopur. 15R/8M/7F; 1 transferred on 6/28/13; 4 frozen.
7/3/2013 - BFP on HPT! Beta #1: 106; Beta #2: 764
7/16/2013 - first ultraound; 2 sacs
7/23/2013 - heard heartbeat for first time (on my birthday); one sac.
EDD: 3/24/14; DD born 2/25/2014
I am so much more forgetful and less organized. I forgot to renew the plates on my car. For 3 months. I got an overdraft on my checking account for the first time ever. Because I completely disregarded 3 (!) checks I wrote and forgot to record. This would have never never ever happened before kids. Lack of sleep is a huge culprit. The other thing is now I'm responsible for a household of 5, including 2 babies /toddlers. That's a lot of space in my brain and something's got to give.
