somewhat related UO, I love surgery and biology shows, and follow a pathologist on instagram because its FASCINATING. DH can't deal. Lately I've been following the pre and post op of someone who had weightloss surgery and now skin removal, SO SO cool.
Geeky side note: On Star Trek: Deep Space 9, there is a race of alien called the Cardassians. I like to confuse my brother after he's had a couple and make him call them "Kardashians". I know, I'm easily amused. lol
LovesMeSomeCake I like Biology shows too. I'll watch certain surgeries, but anything with the eyes or areas a bikini covers, nope.
My UO: I like heat, as in summer. I think 80*F is a wonderful temp... for inside the house. I'm crazy.

Now just imagine trying to contour with that spoon shaped head ridge.

The Lizard looking people? right? My geek shines bright.
Ugh, HOT is not an option. I have central air, but bought a window unit for the bedroom to keep it SUPER COLD.
Interestingly, I read that the temp you prefer is related to birth month, I'm a winter baby, so Cold is my jam. When were you born?

OK, I have a real UO. I do not care who is peeing next to me in a restroom. HOWEVER, if I had to poop and bathrooms were co-ed during k-12, I'd have died of mortification.

I'm OK pooping if there is a stranger in the bathroom, but if it's someone I know, no way.
I also don't think I ever pooped at school growing up. I would just hold it until I got home.

I used to relish humidity when I'd visit places that had it because it made my desert skin so happy but then I lived in GA. Nope. Fuck humidity.
Ugh GA humidity is the worst! I remember visiting my uncle just north of Atlanta and never wanting to leave the house. I couldn't control my hair!
Yeah, it's disgusting. We lived about an hour from Savannah so we got all the humidity, paper mill smells, and gross GA jungle with none of the beach perks.
I'm not big on anti-sugar. I don't think sugar directly links to kids being excited. I think the circumstances around the sugar makes the kids more excited than the actual sugar itself. For example, when we have a birthday at work (I teach Montessori preschool), of course the kids are excited after the cake, but its exciting because they blow out the candles, sing happy birthday, etc. I've had the same reactions from the kids after a birthday cake or a birthday bread.
My coworker is obsessed with sugar being the cause of why a child isn't concentrated in his work, excited, running around, etc. She makes cakes with like 1/3 the amount of sugar of the recipe, they are always crumbly...why? Not enough sugar.
Anyway, everything in moderation. DD loves Bonne Maman jams on her morning toast, it might be high in sugar, but its one piece of toast at breakfast (and not every day). Don't eat it all day, every day and enjoy the real stuff.
But I don't think juice/sugared drinks are good for kids.
