DH suggested we go out to breakfast. Pretty much the greatest idea. We are getting ready to head out now. It is a miserable day. Dark and rainy. Our community's street fair is today... Maybe it will stop raining? I am seriously so sick of this nonstop rain we've been having.
Got nothing to do. IL's are gone for weekend, DH gone until tomorrow, my parents left this morning for a road trip, just me and DD. I'm sensing lots of park time heading our way. Maybe I'll take my mom's dog too. DD just adores him (pit bull/boxer mix) and he let's her do anything and everything to him. Lol
Weekend early risers are the worst. My 5.5 year old DS finally started sleeping until 630, but considering he still won't sleep through the night I'm not sure which is worse.
Taking DS to tball then my parents are taking both kids for the afternoon so I can deep clean my house for DDs 1st birthday party tomorrow. I love to clean and I'm hoping to sneak in a nap so I am very excited!

I also love to clean! MH will occasionally take DS to his parents' house on Saturdays so I can have "me" time. I spend it cleaning like fiend. It's just so rewarding and therapeutic to scrub the shit of out things (literally and figuratively).

+1!! I wish I had more time to deep clean lol. Maybe next weekend
DD woke up early too, kicking her crib. I was craving biscuits and gravy, so sent H to pick up breakfast bc too lazy to get dressed and go out in the rain with a toddler.
DS slept till 7 which is an hour later than usual, so yay. I'm taking him for his first swim lesson this morning which should be fun, then off to the library and probably out for lunch. After which I will need a nap...
DD is just waking up now. 8am....I'll take it! We were going to prep our house to paint, but it's raining so I have no idea what we'll do today. All this talk of food is making me want to go out to breakfast though!

Well we are going to the street festival despite the rain. It's just drizzling now. FX it doesn't downpour. I don't think I'll be able to resist fried dough if they have it.

DS woke up at 8:30 which was great except I'd been laying in bed for an hour awake already. Not doing great this morning. H bought breakfast burritos and ginger ale for me to have in bed which is great because I'm getting caught up on my TV shows. Yay for lazy!
But my brother's fiance just texted asking if I will go out bridesmaid dress shopping with her. I guess so....

LT for fried dough. That sounds amazing right now. I hope they have some!
We have our town's "Day" today too. I haven't decided if we'll stop by yet. It's just a hair too far to walk to our town center and I know parking will be a pain so that might deter us.
DD was also up early this morning. I can't remember the last time I slept in. I did go to sleep at like 8:30 last night though because I was exhausted...so I did get a few more hrs than usual.

I am exhausted today. I even slept until 10am. Later on this afternoon we are going to my niece's dance recital. I'm looking forward to it, but I need to find something comfortable to wear so I can deal with sitting for a few hours with the crazy bloat.
I went to bed at 11:00 and slept until 10:30 this morning and it was awesome. I had "breakfast" of fruit loops and toast at noon. The butter tasted soooooo good to me and has for the last week or so.
We have no plans for the rest of the day and since it is grey and drizzly here I'm thinking a nap will be taking place shortly. Who cares that I've only been awake for 4 1/2 hours?

Im giving myself a time out right now. Pregnancy hormones are in full swing today. I was so moody during my pregnancy with DD but I forgot just how bad it was. My mood swings was actually the reason I took a pregnancy test this time. T&Ps for my marriage through this pregnancy.
heybulldog56 street festival sounds fun! what kinds of things will be there?
We stopped by quickly on our way home from DS's Gymboree class. So many delicious things! Homemade ice cream, local pizza and BBQ food trucks, crab cakes (we are in Maryland after all)! We are going back in a bit because it stopped raining (for now). There were some tents with jewelry that I want to check out. I love long necklaces and earnings. The only thing we did aside from browse was put DS up on a pony for a quick ride before we left.

LT for sympathy. I don't remember being moody last time but yesterday I really lost my patience with DS. I felt guilty the rest of the night. I am usually super patient and understanding but I couldn't take it yesterday. And it wasn't like he was doing anything crazy, which of course makes me feel worse.

Yep, I've been that same way with DD. It makes me feel like the worst mom when I get so short and she really isn't even misbehaving.

Been a mostly relaxing day. Had a S'mores Frappuccino treat, then nap with DS a walk to the park after. Only down side is DS wants the Trams/Buses all the time and has a meltdown when we move away from them.
