I want to like it but it's a bit fluffy/frothy for me. It's sort of how I feel about Zoe. It should be a nice earthy name but it feels too cutesy. For someone else it's fine but I still don't connect with it.

I love it. I think it's beautiful and ethereal, sort of like Freya (although I prefer Freya) or Eos (stupid lip balm people...). I would applaud its use.

I'm sort of superstitious--blame my Choctaw roots--so I read about luna moths and what they symbolize. Mostly people say love and change, but some believe they represent the souls of children. I don't know why, but when I saw it, I immediately thought of our future baby.
*ETA based on the moth's antennae, it appears to be female.

The HP connection is strong for me. I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand I like it, on the other it seems a bit... Out there? Idk, I think it's because I've only heard it in HP and then recently John Legend's baby.

I've actually never read/seen Harry Potter so I would have no clue about that.
And for some reason, instead of the moth, I instantly think of "lunar" moon/space/celestial. Maybe because I live in New England where we drop R's hahah. I like it though!
It's a GP name for me. I think it's pretty, and Luna Lovegood is my favorite HP character. But I couldn't ever use it because I am such an HP nut (and DH would never let me haha).

In my accent, the name Luna and the word lunar are pronounced identically. I'm not a fan for that reason and because of the Harry Potter connection.
I like it but v v strong HP association for me (along with 'Loony Luna' taunt from the books). Also I have multiple friends with cats called Luna! But the HP connection will fade I guess with the passing of time.
