I have a newborn shoot and then a friend and I have plans to go see a movie because she needs a break from her family before her hubby goes back on shift.

DH took his grandfather to a baseball game and DS and I just returned from a nice walk. We made it all of five minutes before he wanted to sit in the shade and watch traffic (which was fine by me). We are home and about to enjoy hotdogs and asparagus. Happy Sunday to all!

Hope you are all having a great day!
Word to the wise, if you are still nauseous and possibly throwing up don't eat popcorn. Probably one of the worst thing to throw up, it's like you ate gravel.

No plans for today, but the nausea is pretty bad. H & I were debating last night keeping the babies in 1 room at first or in two. We have 3 bedrooms upstairs two downstairs. H wants them in one bedroom for awhile and keep the 3rd bedroom upstairs as our guest bedroom for help. I wanted them in two separate bedrooms right away and move the guest bedroom downstairs. The bedrooms are decent sized but I don't see how two cribs will fit in one bedroom.
My day consists of being lazy around the house, no specific plans.

My back is still jacked up but heat seems to be helping. I'm trying to take it easy and not lift my toddler too much. My fiance did a bunch of yard work today that needed to be done. Just got back from a short walk with my son and he's finally napping. I'll probably lay down myself once i cool off.
Nausea is starting, right on time. I'm six weeks tomorrow & that's when it started with my son. Of course it waited until I was starving for lunch to kick in. Still managed to choke it down

Nausea and back stuff? Time for some ice cream and an early bedtime! I hope you feel better soon.

Went to the zoo today and DD got to feed a giraffe! It was adorable.
We are relaxing now and I'm about to house some ice cream. I feeling a little ugh today about the lack of symptoms. I mean, I'm happy to feel good, and I felt great during pregnancy #1. But. You girls know what I mean...

eameselephant, I tell DS every night that I am going to go get daddy and Lily (the dog). He's usually asleep within 30 seconds after I shut the door. Every night I ask myself: is tonight the last time this trick will work?

heybulldog56, eameselephant, you can add my to the list of liars who tell they're kids they'll "be right back in"... and the escape to pray that they fall asleep!

Obviously you do what works best for you, but one thing to consider is that the twins will have spent 9 months in very close quarters and if you separate them they might not sleep as well because they miss their brother/sister and don't know what happened.
My sister had twins and she kept them in one room until they started keeping each other up at nap & bedtimes. That only happened about a year ago and they just turned 3.
They were in separate cribs but close enough that they could hear each other and be a built in comfort system.

Good to know it seems easier if they are in one room at first but we will need to really think of how the room will be structured. Le sigh.

My sister found it easier to keep them on a schedule when they were in the same room. It was easy to get them, change them feed them and get them back to bad when they woke up in the middle of the night. All the supplies were in one place and the babies were in the same place.
I think (although I haven't researched it) it is safe to have them share a crib for awhile, but I don't know what time they recommend moving them to different beds. So if space is a concern you can always start with them sharing one crib in one room.
Have you looked at mini cribs? I don't know if they are a true solution but it might be worth a look.

Such a fun weekend so far! Went to the science center with the kids yesterday morning, then headed up to a cottage our friends rented for the weekend. It was right on Lake Huron and we had such a fun time! We got back super late last night, then went to a BBQ this afternoon. The couple hosting are Romanian and the food was incredible. They sent us home with leftovers, score!

We have a crib we picked for anne.liese that we loved. I wanted to get the same ones but we will see. I need to think about it more.
