DD2 can do it too. No interest doing it in her crib yet, but if we take her hands we don't have to pull her to stand she will push herself up. She's 6.5 months but I blame the fact that she refuses to do tummy time so she's focused on pull ups instead of push ups.

C is doing it too. We lowered the crib mattress all the way to the bottom setting. He's very wobbly, so I'm scared when he tries it on other things- like our coffee table.

She just used brother's chair, bout gave me a heart attack. So glad DH was quick enough to stabilize the chair.
Mine is really close. She can do it if she's on an angle like a couch and if I put her up she stays for a long time. But it won't be long before she is pulling up on everything, the last few days she has been really fussy except when she can practice standing :/
If E is sitting in the crib, he can lift himself up - luckily he cannot get to the sitting position on his own. All he wants to do is stand. When we pick him up he lifts up to his feet, when he try to put him down, he locks his legs so he won't sit.

She posted a video on FB. I was shocked! How is it possible for our babies to be old enough to do that??!

We are pulling up a lot here too. She mostly uses mommy and daddy but will pull up on the couch, her activity table, etc. This morning she tried to get from her belly to up on the crib. We JUST started sitting from on our knees so I know it's soon!
She's a cruiser too. Once she's up she's all over.

flyliceandcoffee, LOL mine is a roller and sitter only. Not crawling. And now that she sits she only wants to do that, you lay her down she gets pissed and starts doing sit ups trying to get back into sitting position. If a toy is too far she foes from sitting to throwing herself towards it lol

This exactly explains my DD too. Not ready for standing/walking or crawling yet!!!

Yes! He's fallen over soo many times in the last week now because he can't figure out how to get a toy and wants it so he just launches himself then bonks his head and just gets mad. He hasn't tried to get into a sitting position from lying down though....this morning was the first time ever that i found him rolled over onto his belly when I came into his room. Normally he'll just lie there and scream at you to come get him.

We just mastered sitting up without toppling over, like this afternoon. This evening my daughter was sitting straddling my leg and used my hands to pull herself to standing. I am in trouble very soon.
Holy crap guise! Crazy what some of your LO's are doing! Dylan is finally consistently rolling from one end of the room to the other, & can sit supported, but is no where near standing. He hasn't been a fan of the jumper as his brothers were. They would spend tons of time in it. Dylan just doesn't care for it for more than 10 minutes at a time. So just doesn't care about working those little chubby legs at all.

Not sure if yours has figured it out but E sat from hands and knees once and then it was all over. Compared to the other skills it took maybe a day to master in constant use.
