My daughter is 21 months and we're still nursing 2-3 times a day. I really want to try to make it to 2 years which will be when I'm about 17 weeks. I'm not sure if that's possible but I hope it won't be too uncomfortable. Anyone else?

No advice, but wanted to say that I'm super impressed you made it to 21 months! I reluctantly gave up at 13 months....I just couldn't keep up with pumping at work. I hope you can make it to your goal of 2 years!!
Still breastfeeding over here! DD is 13 months. My goal was a year, so I don't feel pressure to make it any longer, but I'm not quite ready to stop. I'm nursing about 5 times a day now. Wake up, before morning nap, before afternoon nap, late afternoon and bedtime.
We're getting to the point where I think we could easily drop the wake up feeding, and the late afternoon feeding. Those are usually fairly short. She nurses the most when it's time to settle and go to bed. This week we have had 5:30-6:00 swim lessons and she has been skipping the late afternoon session. So I may just drop it and see how she does.
I definitely want to be done before the new baby is born. So we'll see how it goes.

I'm not sure yet if I go here in Feb 17, but I've been lurking and hoping. I just wanted to pop my head up and say that I also am still breastfeeding. My LO will be two next month and I'd like to ween him soon after. The only reason why we still are nursing is because I'm too much of a wuss to cut him off, he takes such comfort from it. I'm actually hoping that it will be uncomfortable to nurse if I am pregnant and that will force my hand a bit more.

This is how I feel. She's obsessed with nursing and it has taken a lot to cut down to 3x a day.
I haven't intro'd yet because I'm waiting for my doctor's appt to confirm dates, but wanted to chime in. DD1 was 14 months old when I got pregnant with DD2 and was still nursing 5 times a day. I nursed her until she was 20 months old and I was ~30 weeks pregnant with no issues. My milk did dry up a bit during the 2nd trimester, and I think that helped to wean her, which is what I wanted (I wasn't interested in tandem nursing). DD2 is now 10 months old and I plan to nurse her as long as possible as well.
I'm still nursing! DD is 11 months (tomorrow!) and my goal is 1 year, so we'll play it by ear once her birthday rolls around. She recently learned how to ask to nurse (whining and trying to lift my shirt. If she JUST ate and I try to distract her...WATCH OUT! TEMPER TANTRUM!), which I was really hoping wouldn't happen before we could wean! She takes so much comfort in nursing, too, so I don't know how we will ever stop. I was looking forward to having my body back & wearing a regular bra, but now that I'm pregnant, my body won't be mine for a very long time so I'm in no huge rush (although I'd love to be able to leave her with my parents overnight occasionally & not need to pump!).

Yep. My 2nd is only 6 months so I'd like to go as long as possible, and even tandem nurse if possible. We're being posted across the country soon so I plan to find an LC and a midwife with experience as soon as I get there. My current doc is a family doctor and not really familar with that stuff do I'm not going to bother to ask her advice before we leave.
