This is going to sound crazy, but I think M might be teething. DH noticed a white bump on his gums 2 days ago where his canine would come in. I told him he was nuts. Except now there is one on each side and M is drooling like crazy and would only take 20 minute naps. I guess time will tell, but it's really weird.
I haven't noticed dirt under the nails but I hate the fuzz that gathers between his toes and fingers! He keeps his hands clenched that I will find fuzz there too. I don't know why it bothers so much.
Yes I hate this too! I'm always trying to get his fists unclenched to get the fuzz out!
Yes!! I am constantly pulling fuzz out of her hands! Drives me crazy!!

Maybe. That is not the typical order teeth come in. I mean not all babies play by the rules, but usually the two bottom center teeth are first. Canines are much later.
We just went through DS1 getting his canines a couple months ago. They were the worst. I know it seems unlikely, but it's a weird combination of symptoms.
So DH did a bunch of traveling over the last two weeks and now he came home and has a 102 fever. I am terrified that S is going to get it because H has been helping me a lot this week since he's been back. I'm not ready for little guy to be sick so I hope that he doesn't get it. :-(

DH is at work. DS was cranky but I finally got him to sleep in his swing around 5:00. I decided I should take a short nap on the couch cuz I had been up since 4:30 this morning. Uhhhh, woke 2.5 hours later! And DS was still sleeping soundly on the swing.
Grrrr that 2.5 hour "nap" I took on the couch was the longest stretch of sleep I got tonight. DS keeps waking up constantly. He was up 8:45-9:30 so I could feed, change, and get him to bed in our room. Then he was up from 11:00-11:30 just fussing, not hungry, just whiny. Then 1:00-1:30ish (ate), then just fussing again at 3:00, and fed him now at 4:30 and just got him down again. Of course tack on at least 15 minutes to those times for when I finally fell asleep each time.
I'm so exhausted! And now DH had to close his mom's restaurant/bar, and he apparantly drank too much, because I woke up to find a text from him saying he is staying at his parents' (it's right by the restaurant). Must be nice.

I'm feeling a little ragey at your H. I'm sure you'd like to stay late at a bar drinking. I know I sure as hell would! FYI, I begrudge my H pretty much everything. Lol he can't go anywhere by himself without me getting pissed!

I mean, he was working. But he doesn't HAVE to drink while bartending. He likes to give me a sob story about how customers would be offended if he declined their offers of shots. But it's such a bullshit excuse. All he has to say is "Thanks, but my wife is at home with our 8-week-old baby so I need to be able to drive home tonight." If anyone was offended by that, they're an ass hole.
We have a cookout today for a couple who is getting married in August, and DH is best man. I text DH and told him since he got drunk last night, he doesn't get to drink anything today.
We had a garage sale yesterday and posted some pictures in a fb group for our area to advertise. Very few people came to the sale but now a bunch of people are picking out items in our pictures and they want more pictures and details. As much as I want to sell this stuff, this is way too much work. I've got 6 old doors and 4 people that want pictures of front and back and measurements on each. Dude, they are $5. Just come to the sale or schedule to see them in person. I don't get it.

My husband did the Savage Race yesterday, so I took all of the kids to watch.......alone.
Yes, I am insane.
You should have seen the stares - I had the baby in the stroller because it was too hot to wear him all day and he needed the shade. Huge cooler under the stroller. Massive diaper bag over my shoulder. Four kids trailing behind me. It was insane. I survived five hours in the sun with a newborn and four whiny children (I'm hot! I'm tired! I'm hungry! When is dad done? When can we leave? I'm bored! He looked at me! She touched me! I don't like the sunscreen!). And we had to walk miles through the grass to see him at various points along the race.
Needless to say, I completed my own savage race yesterday. I'm not sure who is more tired today - me or DH.

So I've been lurking for a little while and finally registered for this site. I think 9 weeks of being constantly on call for DD was getting to me and I needed some others to relate to. DH is very helpful, but he doesn't totally get what it's like sharing your body to EBF a baby. So hi!

Welcome teachermom! My mom had said something to me when I was pregnant about sharing your body for so long but I didn't get it until now. It's hard!
Thanks! I BF my oldest for a couple years and intend to do the same with this one. I think knowing how long I'm going to be doing this for makes it a little harder. But she's likely our last, so I'm trying hard to embrace it.

Welcome! Get a profile pic if you can, it helps people to remember you!
I am trying to find an outfit for S's baptism. Everything is tight. My shirt was popping open. Not sure what I will wear back to work.
Are you business casual at work? Maybe you can invest in a few new, nondescript tops to wear under blazers. That's what I did when I was pregnant and my collared shirts no longer buttoned but I didn't want to buy a huge new wardrobe.

Hello! I can def relate. I can't go anywhere without baby cause we're not doing bottles right now b/c of nipple confusion. I'm exhausted! Getting advice and venting to everyone on the board helps!
