Weekends are slow around here so I'm good with a weekend thread...
I'm getting ready to head to my sister's house to got to the pool with her and the kids for a few hours. I got most of our party chores done last night and my SCH spotting is almost non existent today so I can go play for a few hours.
I enjoyed being able to sleep in a little this morning but taking Synthroid is putting a cramp in my style. Pre-pregnancy I never (or almost never) woke up hungry. Since I've started the Synthroid I wake up hungry and I have to take it on an empty stomach and wait at least 30 minutes to eat. By the time I'm allowed to eat I'm bordering on sick I'm so hungry.
I feel like I shouldn't complain because I've been lucky to mostly avoid the pregnancy nausea, but still it kinda sucks.

Current situation is DD and I cuddling on the sofa watching sesame street while DH cleans the kitchen from breakfast. We are skipping soccer tots this morning bc DD is still running fever and just overall rugged this morning. Poor angel - can't stand seeing her not feeling good!

Sick littles are the saddest but the cuddles are always welcome.

Well, looks like DS has some sort of virus that's been going around and is causing a sore throat and fever and ear aches. Fabulous. My mom has already caught it but I'm hoping it's just because her immune system isn't very good.
Waiting for the nausea to subside this morning. It was so awful last night, I don't know how I didn't throw up dinner besides the fact that I got to bed right away and refused to move. Can't wait to be off work -.-

I am totally rocking maternity pants. Nope I'm not showing but the progesterone and my lack of discipline made me gain so many pounds that my regular pants are too tight on my belly. The blump is real!
TTC#1 since Feb 2011 With an RE since 2012 August 2012/March 2014: Med cycles, 5 IUIs, 5 IVFs and nothing. Diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure (POF)
We adopted four embryos! Transferred 2 - they both took!!! Rebecca & Sara born at 23 weeks on 04/06/15. Rest in peace my angels. May 2016 - Transferred one embryo. BFP on 5/11!! We are due in January 2017!
Happy weekend! Sorry to hear about all of he sick kids. DD had a fever on Thursday, but she seems to be doing better.
I had a much needed, super fun girls night out. We went to dinner and two bars, where of course I didn't drink. Luckily my friends were nice enough not to ask if I'm pregnant, although I'm sure they're speculating.
Today so far has just been our usual Saturday target and grocery run, and I got a redbox video for tonight.

DD just woke up from her first nap which means I'm up from my first nap. Nothing happening here today which is pretty typical for the past few weeks. I just keep telling myself she is too young to remember how boring I was. Hopefully things turn around soonish and I won't be so boring.

And I am so darn comfortable now!
I'm with you. Stretchy pants, athletic shorts, maternity shorts are amazing compared to real pants and shorts.
When does the bloat and pudge seem more like a bump? I feel like with LO #1 it was around 13-14 weeks but I can't really remember.
I bought some delicious looking heirloom tomatoes for dinner at the farmer's market. There were a ton of garage sales and a big flea market that we stopped at too. Now I'm pooped and ready for a nap!

I'm so over work -.- I think I've helped maybe 5 or 6 customers in the last 4 hours. Only 1 hour left! Hopefully, baby won't get angry when I try to eat lunch afterward because I'm so sick of being starving and feeling so sick after eating, even small meals.
peaseblossom55, Because I doubt I'll remember on the correct day, happy early anniversary! I'm hoping H and I can take a mini babymoon for ours and go to a lodge or something (it's in December).

Mmmm just finished up lunch of a leftover calazone and it was beautiful. Artichoke, Roma tomatoes, and prosciutto all bundled up in yummy cheese and pesto wrapped in delicious crust.

Aww happy birthday baby Ophelia! How fun! My dd didn't nap after her party either, too much sugar and excitement I guess. Fx for a good rest of the night!

Happy weekend, ladies! DH let me sleep in. He and DS went out for breakfast and brought me a bagel, pancakes, hash browns, and a spinach omelette. I obviously ate all the carbs and was too full for the omelette. I haven't done much but take DS to Gymboree and nap for three hours. We are now at the pool and debating whether to go out for Italian or grill hotdogs and burgers at home. Decisions, decisions.
opheliainwaders, so glad the party went well! Sounds like a blast for the kids!

I just ate so much. I had zero self control at dinner and now I feel like shit. I only have myself to blame. There's no point to this post, I am just irritated/ frustrated. Hope everyone is having a pleasant evening!!
I am just waking up for the day. Night shift is awesome and it sucks at the same time. My kid is still napping downstairs so I'm upstairs playing on my phone and trying to avoid going downstairs. I'll have to parent as soon as he wakes up and I want some alone time before I have to do that.

With the twins I started showing a tiny bump at 13 weeks. Since this is a singleton I'm not expecting to show until later.

I feel you on the Synthroid. I've been on it for almost 3 years - since I was just pregnant with DS. Honestly, during the first trimester I just didn't follow the 30 minute rule. I couldn't. Once I was feeling better around 12 weeks I started doing it again.
I've also heard of people setting a cup of water and their meds next to their bed, waking up early, taking it without getting out of bed, and then going back to sleep for an hour or so. I just can't get myself up early, and DS is usually sleeping next to me so I don't want to wake him up.
Just now getting on here today. We've had a busy day. Our annual family picnic for church is tomorrow, and we currently have 35 lbs. of pork butt in our smoker. We made a Costco run this morning, DS and I napped while DH changed the oil in our van and ran a couple errands, then my sisters came over for a cook out. Unfortunately, our power went out during dinner and our house got SO HOT so we ran out for froyo and a Target run just to hang out in air conditioning. The power came back on about 30 minutes after DS's bedtime, but he was still up, so I'm glad we don't have to sleep with no AC or fans.

I normally sleep with water/a drink on my night stand in case I wake up thirsty. I've added my pill bottle there as well. If I happen to wake up early I will go ahead and take it and go back to sleep but that isn't my normal routine.
I'm also horrible about drinking a full glass of water with the pill. I take a few sips and I'm done. I'm bad about drinking liquids in general and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm mildly dehydrated, but other than occasional chapped lips I've not noticed anything.

We all rolled out pretty early this morning to go scope out a potential venue for our wedding 'reception' (it's just dinner). They booked someone else for our date! I understand that they can't hold it without the deposit but she could have called us so we didn't waste the trip. I'm so bummed.
We took kiddo to a nice park downtown after that and he had a great time. I got some cute videos of daddy pushing him on the swings. And daddy got to chase him around the park for once! It's exhausting lol
Stopped by another possible dinner venue on the way home and my fiance things it's more casual than he really wants but we're getting down to the wire.
Then I took a two hour nap while DS was napping and it was glorious. Really bad nausea today, just starting to ease up.

Oh man last night was rough. DD was up just about every hour gagging, coughing, and spitting up then crying and saying "I'm sick" "I'm scared" "I love mommy." This kid knows how to break my heart!! Thank heavens for Motrin and Tylenol. She "slept" most of the night on top of me and occasionally she would settle in propped up on some pillows for a few minutes. Poor thing has to be exhausted, I know I am. We've been super lucky with her and at almost 2.5 years old this is the sickest she's ever been. Ready for her to feel better soon!!
