So at my NT scan the nugget's heart rate was 138 at 11w4d. The doctor doing the scan didn't seem concerned at all, which I'm sure is the important thing. But it seems kinda low compared to what others have been posting. Has anyone else had a HB on the lower side? I'm not buying a Doppler so no way to follow up until my next appointment. Maybe she's just super chill? My heart rate and blood pressure are on the low side. I also didn't eat anything before my scan.
Sounds normal to me. Especially if she's resting. Whenever DS wasn't moving much, I would check his heart rate and it would be low, which suggested to me that he was sleeping. Whenever he was moving around like crazy, I would check and it would be higher.
I agree with kaydee0402. We used the doppler last week and counted the beats, it was only around 130 per minute, which freaked us out because her heart has always been on the fast side. I checked at a different time of day later in the week and found it to be around 165 bpm. After some research, it sounds like their heartbeats act just like ours - slower if you're resting and faster if you're moving around. You may have just caught baby catching some zzz's
requiressnacks, ha ha! Mine is always around that number, too! I see other people post videos showing the rate much higher and I don't know why my doppler just can't keep up. I'm glad to hear it's not just me! I recorded the beat with my phone and then worked some calculator magic to come up with the bpm.

That's exactly it. That raise in heart rate is what they look for when you do Non-stress tests. So, every time the baby moves, you push a button, and they want to see the heart rate go up at the same time.
