We decided on Rosalind as a first name for baby girl #2. I love names but can't seem to get inspired by anything as a middle name. Could anyone throw out some suggestions? I love old lady names and saint names. My other favorite first name choices were Caroline, Flora, Marianna, and Alice, but none of those sound like a good combo with Rosalind. I think all Lou/Lu names are out because I already used one for DD1.

and Rosalind Ceilidh has a beautiful sound to me, but I could see Anglicizing the spelling.
Ceilidh isn't a name. It's an event where Scottish country dancing takes place, and probably songs, recitations and storytelling. Signed, your resident Welsh-speaking, Scottish-dwelling, etymology obsessed poster :-)
To the OP, Rosalind is gorgeous. With a three-syllable first name I'd be inclined to go for a one or two syllable middle name. Alice is perfect!

I agree. Longer middle names might be a bit of a mouthful with Rosalind, but Alice has a good balance.
