Morning! aggiebug hope your headache clears up soon.
It seems like I can never get enough sleep sometimes. We've been going to bed at a decent time and DS is sleeping great, so don't know what my problem is.
Not much on our agenda today; DS has speech and we need to figure out dinner. Lately nothing sounds good so I am having a hard time coming up with meal ideas. I may try and make some headway on the ongoing trim painting project...my goal is to get two hallways we have done this week.
aggiebug Hope your headache goes away! And I never change the time for crockpot recipes. I halve and third recipes all the time and I've never had a problem with it drying out or anything.
Ugh sophiegrace, those dreams are the worst! aggiebug, I wouldn't think you'd need to adjust the cooking time if you are halving the recipe. Assuming the amount of liquid will be proportional to the amount of chicken you plan to use, it should turn out fine.
We are having breakfast and watching Jon Oliver. Planning to take L to a big splash pad/kids pool today and my MIL is taking us to dinner tonight. She is going home tomorrow. Aside from scratching my new wood floors by pushing L in a box on them (it's very minor and should be easy to fix but still annoying), we've had a pretty chill visit so that's good. This week we are just trying to finish up at the old house and get L out of the house to play more.
ClassyMrsA and dashook thanks I hardly any sense my crockpot because I forget to start it. Ha. So I have never messed with recipes however 6lbs is a lot!
6 pounds is a lot!! I would be so sick of that meal by the end of it.

exactly! It's actually a freezer meal so I think I will make the full batch but out half in the freezer and half in the crockpot.
Eta I am also wondering if I can put it straight from the freezer into the crockpot and cook it longer but it's from a freezer book and other recipes it says to dump from frozen so I don't know.
sophiegrace I hate those kinds of dreams! In mine, he doesn't cheat, but it's always that he wants to get divorced and doesn't love me anymore. I always wake up feeling all weird and upset. DH thinks I'm crazy because I always make sure he still loves me in real life.

I remember someone in this group was having crazy sex dreams in first tri...when do I get to switch to that category?! I wake up feeling all weird too! It takes a bit to 100% realize it was all a dream.

I had crazy sex dreams all the time with M. I think I've only had one this time around....wtf?
I had them with this pregnancy, moreso than last time. I don't remember having any with B.
Re: dreams; I had some good sex ones with DS but zero this time around. I'm not having awful dreams either so that's a win, but I wouldn't mind a little spiciness.
tgrimes1980 Best wishes for an amazing A/S. Ours is next week and I, too, am nervous. Keep us posted but I am sure all is well!
sophiegrace I get those dreams too and wake up all sad
+ a million to trouble sleeping. This is unreal. And if one more person makes the comment "well just wait until they get here"... I am going to kick them in the ankles. Like people will ask how I'm feeling, and I'll say great, wonderful even (because I mostly am). And they'll come back with "really?" And I'll say yeah, aside from a couple headaches and nosebleeds and trouble sleeping. And then they hit me with it "oh just wait until they get here". No shit Sherlock. I wasn't even gonna say anything until you probed.
All my dreams that are sexual at all tend to be about finding somewhere to have sex or just flirting or getting started then interrupted.
Last night's dream was crazy. Homicidal practical jokes was the theme. There was a sinister reason why these 'jokes' had to be done. One was outing a therapist who slept with his patients, another was a real estate agent blown up (played by Susan Sarandan), the last one I don't know what happened but knives were involved and the lead (me I think) got really hurt but the supporting male lead couldn't remember what happened. I woke up before I found out.
I get some very dark dreams when pregnant but oddly enough don't freak me out when I wake up.

kleigh those comments are so annoying! My cousin just had a baby a couple days ago and I asked her sister how she was doing when I saw her at church. She just says "tired.. just wait!". Yea ok.. I know I'm going to be tired. Then a few weeks ago I was stuck getting advice about boys from my younger cousin whose son is a little out of control. I stopped listening.

I literally glaze over when people start with the advice. Especially older generation people who refuse to understand that things/standards/safety etc have changed since they brought up children.
My CW (the girl, not creepy guy) made a meeting for us with an insurance carrier this morning. DNW to pretend to be social this morning.
I'm struggling with being social today too. It's not quite a grumpy or bitchy feeling, and I'm not sure if being alone would help, I just don't want to have to put the effort out today.
+ whatever to not sleeping, but I'm blaming it on my damn husbands snoring. It is so annoying, and because I'm so used to him not being at home during the week and getting good sleeps for work, it's gonna be an eye opener for sure. GAH! I have so much rage in the middle of the night....I would prefer the sex dreams for sure.
My FIL is a HORRIBLE snorer. I'm pretty sure my MIL sleeps in their guest room most nights, and when they visit us I've found her on the sofa MOTN a couple times. So far, DH isn't a snorer, but I'm so, so worried this is my future. (FIL is also quite overweight, though, so I think that's part of his problem.)SaveSave
vinolove That sounds miserable. I can see why back in the olden days, married couples often kept separate bedrooms! It seems very practical in many ways
