C has been vomiting for the past hour or so- about 5 times. And he slept through most of it. DH heard him the first time and went to check him and got vomitted on the second time. It was so watery and forceful it soaked the side of the bassinet. After he got cleaned up and put back down (still sleeping), he threw up again but this time it was (TMI) a lot of chunky milk. While we were cleaning that up he threw up on the change table. Tried to put him down again and he gagged and almost dry heaved and threw up some thick yellow stuff. I have been holding him for 20 min or so and he seems fine (even smiling in his sleep) but I don't want to put him down and not hear him if he throws up again. I really hope he was just overful from his bedtime feed (? It was 3 hours earlier) and that he's not actually sick and it won't last all night, or it's going to be a long night.
Ok it's been nearly an hour since he last vomitted and I'm dozing off in the rocking chair. I think I'm going to put him to bed and me as well. Wish me luck.

Hope he's ok. Maybe give the on call pedi a call if he's still vomiting? I'm not sure if it's common, but my pedi office wants a call for true vomit (not spit up). GL!

Same here. It doesn't hurt to call and check if you are concerned.
Thanks guys. He slept hard all night, no more vomit so far. I'm feeding his brother right now and I hear him stiring, so I'll feed him next and see what happens. If he throws up any more today I'll probably call the dr.
Poor little guy! I hope he's feeling better. Has he been congested at all? My LO vomited like that yesterday, like 3 consecutive times very forcefully. Then (TMI) I saw that yellow stuff like you said he had and realized that a lot of mucus probably went down her throat and she had gotten sick to her stomach from it like we do. She was also very lethargic afterwards but didn't throw up again, so I thin she just had to get it all out of her stomach. Just a thought?

Could be a bit congested. He sounded like it afterwards and I assumed he threw up out his nose a little bit. He is also very slobbery lately so maybe too much saliva could cause the same thing?
How do you tell a 12 week old to just take small sips? Lol.
Lol. I try to tell that to my six week old all the time. He makes himself choke by eating too fast. So if you figure out a way to get your message across, let me know!! I hope your baby is feeling much better this morning!!
Did you check for fever? I'd probably put a call into the pediatricians office just to be on the safe side. But then again, I am 100% okay with being THAT mom who calls when she's got a question.
I hope LO is feeling better and you were able to get some sleep!
