M is currently crawling around with my swimsuit bottoms around her neck. #classy
We've learned that M will only walk with her shoes on! She's so backwards. She has to wear shoes all the time at DC, so I think she's just so used to wearing them. We need to go barefoot more often!
SO is working. My plan for the day is to clean, pack, and play with the baby. I might break out her bubble machine.
Morning. E did really well at the shower. My 1 cousin said it was split because it was about 50 people and no one could house that many. There were about 10 of us at my aunts. She said there were 8 people who didn't rsvp but it wasn't that many to have 2. malvo glad m is walking she will get the hang of it with no shoes on as well.
F slept all night TWO nights in a row! ANNDDD she slept until 8:30 this morning. Yayayay! I feel great!
I want to go to church but h kinda wants to do stuff around the house so I may take the kiddos solo. They always take good naps after.
No other real plans. I may get dirty in the yard later and do some cleaning up. H pulled the trellis away from the bottom of the deck and there is trash and stuff under there.

Woo hoo!!! Did you have to do any sort of sleep training?
babys2015 I like all of those shirts. My only thought is that whomever wears the dark blue top will stand out amongst the other boy and your h.
So should I get a white shirt w a different print? Why is this so hard?!
I really just wanted to do one in denim and one in white and then h in white w denim accents..but he didn't like that idea..
Oh! Will your h wear dark navy shorts? That will help add another touch of the dark. I wouldn't get another white. I would just add another shade of the dark somewhere amongst the boys. If dad wears dark shorts then I think that will balance it out perfect.
babys2015 also, we haven't been going in in the motn much. We've soothed then left her. It was a nice quiet morning- h woke and went out on the deck with his coffee, d slept in until the same time as well as did I so I think that helped the kids sleep in.
rvamama, yay for sleep. I'm waiting for A to get on the sleep bandwagon! She was up twice last night. My parents visited yesterday so our naps were messed up. No plans today except mopping and laundry and grocery shopping after church.
Currently letting e run around the kitchen naked. She soaked this morning and now running around waiting for hb to finish eating. She has peed on the floor once so far, luckily it is linoleum so cleans easily.
Morning! We decided yesterday we were going to try and start transitioning to 1 nap. It went pretty well, I think! She napped 11:45-2:45 and down to bed around 7:15. Then woke about 6:30 this morning. Fx she can make it to about noon again today. She did start losing it a bit yesterday morning. But she skips her afternoon nap half of the time, so we thought we should.
We're going to brunch this morning with my H's best friend from childhood and his family. He's in town from New Orleans. They're the nicest family and I love seeing them!
Then I'll be grocery shopping and doing more continuing education classes.

He was going to wear teal shorts but he could wear navy! I'll have to think on that..

malvo - I got teary eyed for you watching Ms video late last night. I know you've been trying to get her there and it finally happened!
babys2015 - I like the shirts! Could you do one of the boys in coral shorts and one in teal? Then H in navy shorts. They're going to look adorable no matter what!
rvamama - YAY!! STTN is a Godsend for sure! FX F is just feeling cuddly!
flat0422 - that's so sweet that they got a water table for K! I'm hoping to get N out to his later today. Enjoy your day, no matter which option you choose!
sjep922 - GL with the nap transition! N has been a one nap baby for so long that I don't know any different. He's just been pushing it later and later lately.

I've been MIA most of the week. I didn't really grieve the passing of my coworker so after the viewing on Friday, I wasn't in a good place. I cried a ton to DH and worked out hard that night. I've talked about it to a lot of people because I feel like it's helping me slightly. The preliminary autopsy didn't show anything traumatic. The family is waiting 6-8 weeks for the final results. I still just don't get it. Had a bachelorette party yesterday and my one mom friend and I just went to dinner and the baseball game. It was so hot and humid. The game didn't start until 7:15 but it was still stuffy when it ended. Today, we were supposed to have a get together with some of my old work friends, but one ended up getting her gallbladder out this morning, and the other was best friends with the girl who passed, so we decided to wait until everyone could come again. 21 day fix is going well and I'm down 4.4lbs in one week. I don't expect it to keep that pace, but I'm excited. I think that's all I missed while on hiatus. Happy Sunday everyone!

Oh also - shoutout to graciest719ladymikecoleybug13 - Someone posted a German Shepard print in one of the bst groups I'm in, saying it was a new print. I'm stalking y'all if you have this it would make DH a little less angry that I keep spending money. Haha.
Morning! Kids slept until 6:30 and 7 so that was nice since we stayed up late watching more OITNB last night. Our trip to SF yesterday was successful-- my sister picked up the ring and we were out of there very quickly. A little sad since it was a gorgeous day there and about 20 degrees cooler than home...oh well. We stopped at The Cheesecake Factory on the way home and I blew the rest of my calories for the day which was delicious but a bummer. No real plans for today-- pool and picnic in a while. Hoping to wipe the kids out so they take nice long naps
malvo- No worries, now that M has started she will just walk more and more and get better each day, shoes or not! babys2015- I agree with previous comments, the white shirts are a bit too matchy for me. Maybe that plain chambray one you posted yesterday instead of the little boy white one? I also agree with the sentiment that they will look adorable no matter what! So choose whatever strikes you! rvamama- Yay to the STTN! Feels so great! bekbek- I hope A gets with the program for you. These m15 mommas are ready for some good sleep! @megaugust10- Hope E's rash is getting better! sjep922- Yum, brunch! Have a great time!! Also- Good luck with the nap transition. It was tricky for us early on but now not an issue at all. Worth it. portuguesemama- Sorry for the tough times. Hang in there, friend. Plus we missed you here
F is so fussy today. Her nap earlier was ruined because she slept just long enough in the car that when I tried to lay her down after we got home she woke up. Nursed more, d kept interrupting us and the dog was being a bitch so the whole nap was ruined.
Trying to lay her down now and got 30 minutes out of her before she woke, nursing now while she snoozes on me.
She is quiet and cuddly still, and her breath was kind of stinky just now so I hope it's not a cold/sore throat/strep kind of thing. She was also holding/tapping the side of her head earlier when I was trying to put her down
Hey- anyone fly in/out/through San Francisco air port? I am wondering what kind of layover is suitable for my sister, F and I to get to connecting flight.

Lines to check baggage and to go through security can be insane. I panicked and thought I'd never catch my flight (I did, thank goodness)! So I'd give 2+ hours if that's where you're flying out of.
If it's just a layover, the place isn't too hard to maneuver. An hour to connect should be enough. I wouldn't do less than an hour if you're coming from the east, as I find the winds are never in my favor and we arrive late.
I agree with Malvo- I would look for about an hour if it were me. To be fair, we only fly in/out of sfo so I have no experience with layovers there. I hate rushing through airports more than anything though! Oops- rvamama
I painted my nails for the 1st time in forever. E does not know really how to take it. She noticed my unpainted nails earlier so I thought I would paint them to see what she does.

So funny! I tried to paint f's toes when we were at the beach, but she was so interested she kept wanting to poke them...
I only got one toe done on her and she smooshed it.

@ rvamama the only comment I can make about the SFA is it's freaking cold in there. Make sure to bring something to cover up with.
I've been painting H's fingernails and toenails since her 1st bday. She loves it!! It's easiest if you do it while they are in the high chair that way they are contained.
