We are a group of women striving to live healthier lives, whether that means losing weight, gaining weight, sticking to a specific diet, counting calories, avoiding counting calories, starting to exercise, continuing to exercise or anything in between.
We check in on Mondays. Feel free to use this ckin throughout the week if you are struggling or have an awesome achievement to share!
The good: I guess one day over 10k steps is better than none
The bad: still giving in to stress eating
The proud: eh. I guess that I haven't completely lost all will power.
The plan: first full week back at the gym. I'll grab lower weights for now since I'm still getting back to 100%. And I need to aim for more than one day at over 10k!! Oh. And I'm doing that detox this week. It sucks. So yay.
Good luck with your detox 4furrypaws, i hope it won't be too bad. Also, good for you for getting back to the gym. You got this!
The Good: even though I skipped WW last week and ate all the cookies I hardly gained any weight. Much to my surprise tbh!
The Bad: all the cookies?
The Proud: after a few days of just giving in to all the cravings I told myself STOP and I haven't munched since.
The Plan: Try continue to eat healthy. We are going away for a short get away later this week so I foresee lots of eating out which will make it hard to keep to WW but I'll try to at least eat small portions and as much fruits, veggies and salads as I can.
QotW Oy I can't remember the last picnic I been to! No idea on recipes

The good: not much this week. Only two days of 10,000 steps.
The bad: not so many steps. And lots of cookies!
The proud: nothing this week.
The plan: Hit 10,000 steps 5 days this week. Also eat more fruit and veggies and not as many cookies.
QOTW: I take fruit salad that I usually carve a watermelon for. It looks so cute! I've also done red, white and blue fruit skewers (strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows/starfruit-not white but stars so still cute). That's what I'm making for our 4th celebration this weekend! I also will make a bowl of tabbouleh! Delish!

The Good: Didn't eat terribly this week.
The Bad: Didn't exercise. At all.
The Proud: Meh.
The Plan: Trying to view this as a chance to have another month of getting in shape and getting healthy. Goal is to exercise 5 days this week, and stick to my meal plan! Going to have smoothies every day for breakfast (so far, so good!)
QOTD: We are having a picnic this weekend for the 4th. Do you have any healthy picnic recipes you like to make or take to a gathering? I make chipotle lentil burgers, and they are always a hit. They're made with lentils, carrots, and zucchini and are really good. Got it from my Appetite for Reduction cookbook (vegan cookbook, really good!).
The Good: I Have stuck to my diet for two days straight... not amazing, but something!
The Bad: I haven't gotten in a run/workout for over a week.
The Proud: Yesterday i went a little crazy with veggies from Trader Joes and packed a week worth of mason jar salads. Ate my first one today and it was AMAZING. I'm hooked.
The Plan: Keep going with my salads, and get back on the workout train!
QOTD: We are having a picnic this weekend for the 4th. Do you have any healthy picnic recipes you like to make or take to a gathering? I love skewers with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella balls! Super yummy and (kind of) patriotic
