Hey everyone. We are headed to Hampton beach in a couple of weeks. LO will be about 2 and a half months old. Just looking for ideas of what to bring to make the 3 hour drive and days at the beach go smoothly. I've got a beach tent and sun hat. I believe it's to early for sunscreen. Any other ideas/tips? TIA
Our pedi actually said we can put sunscreen on DD now. I've always heard wait until 6 months. I plan to wait though like I did with DD1 as I'm allergic to certain ones and worry she may be too. So far so good with DD1 though.
We went to the beach when DD1 was about 4 months old. We have the mesh bath chair from Target that folds up so I took that for her to sit on.

Enjoy your trip!
Our pedi also said we could put certain brands of sunscreen on DD if absolutely necessary. I did get a little tube and put some on her leg a week or so ahead of our trip to make sure it did not irritate her skin. I did not want to deal with any surprise rashes or allergic reactions while we were on our trip!
If the hotel/rental offers a pack 'n play or crib for you to use, I'd suggest taking your own sheets.
