Do you bring a bag each day that you leave there? What is in the bag? Yes. It contains changes of clothes, bibs, spit rags, blanket, and an insulated bag with my milk and his bottles.
What do you have to label? How are you labeling it? Don't have to label anything. DS is the only baby, and often the only child there. Though the milk bags are labeled because I always label them.
Do you leave the car seat at daycare? Yes, because DH picks him up two days a week.
Starting daycare for DS next week, but it is the same one DD goes to.
Center or In home? Center
Do you bring a bag each day that you leave there? What is in the bag? I just bring in bottles each day, we use an insulated bag from 31 with an ice pack in it. We leave one extra bottle at daycare and some frozen milk in the freezer.
Do you have to provide sheets, blankets, bibs, spit rags? No, that is all provided. We provide a few changes of clothes, diapers, and wipes. We can provide a personal blaket, which we will probably do, so I can sleep with it for a few nights and leave my smell on it.
For marking the date, we will use masking tape, and cross out old dates, then replace when we run out of room
For clothes and blanket we use a fabric sharpie on the tag to put his name on it.
Do you leave the car seat at daycare? Do you do something different if the same person is picking up and dropping off?
If the same person/car (we often drive together) does pickup we do not leave the carseat. It someone does drop off and the other does pickup we leave the car seat.
I'll be following this because I've been thinking the same things.LO is only going Monday -Wednesday (in home ) and for 5 or 6 hours a day so I'm thinking I'll just pack a bag everyday. She will be only one with bottles so not sure about labeling. Dad will drop off and pick up so he probably won't leave car seat...so many things to think about!
I don't know how day cares work since my girls are with my mom, but why are you not leaving the car seats? What if there is an emergency? DH does drop off and I pick up. We leave the bucket car seat with her (we each have a base in our car) and my mom has her own convertible car seat in her car.
I know my situation is a bit different, but I send frozen milk each week and she just thaws as she goes. I also leave a bag of clothes, burp cloths, and bibs on Monday and take it home Friday to wash everything. I have a little makeup type bag that I keep all meds in that goes with them.
