Another night of ok sleep. Thank you Jesus!
3 of my coworkers just went to the beach together and this is their first day back to work. I'm dreading hearing them chatter and giggle all day about it. I really lIke all of them and the 1 actually babysits for me. I'm not jealous I didn't go, they're all younger and of course probably partied a lot so it wouldn't have been my scene. I guess I just don't want to hear about relaxing and fun beach vacations :/

F had a slightly better night of sleep after fighting for 2 hours to get him down. I'm still exhausted but at least I feel mostly human and my brain mostly works. lol.

DH hates it, but he's not the one who has to bathe, brush, and trim the dog all summer long when he goes swimming in my parents pond and rolls in the grass.

I'm at a retirement meeting this morning. Cool thing was it was like 2miles from my house, so I had an awesome commute. I also managed to get a 2mile jog in this morning before I got here.

So basically she's been refusing a bottle at DC. When I give less milks she still leaves a couple ounces. If I send a full baby food meal (yogurt or puree) she only eats 2 bottles. I've been halving the yogurt and puree, so she'll drink more milk, but she's still leaving ounces. So....I could send 2 3-4 oz baby foods, 2 4 oz bottles. Or 2 2 oz baby foods, 1 4oz bottle, and 2-3ish ounce bottled. But, with the second options she still wastes milk. And she'd rather have the solids.

My dad is visiting and he has too much energy for a man in his sixties. The baby gets me up at 5:00 and then my dad gets out of bed at 10:00 and is like "what are we doing today?". "Umm, I've been up for five hours already and I want a break now!"
i've been spending all day looking at a multi-consultant LLR party. I'm not even an addict (yet) - I only have the one pair of leggings and a classic t. The leggings are super soft but I'm not a huge legging fan (except for running in winter) so I haven't bought more for fear that I won't actually wear them.
Some of the patterns people are going all crazy for look SOOOOO ugly to me. Like, the golden girls called and want that shirt back. lol.

Hard for me to answer because while DD2 still nurses 7-8 times a day while eating solids she could be theoretically eating less at each feeding for all I know since I don't pump anymore. I know DD1 though did wean herself at 8 months because she was SOOO into solids. DD2 loves solids too now that she's getting on to it but she's definitely a boob addict. So it sounds normal to me.

kensie5226, sometimes F takes less milk lately, but I think it's because he's been sick, not because of solids. She may just be distracted at daycare too, you never know.
Oh, did I say F has been sick? That's right. His right ear infection is now in both ears - apparently it was amoxicillin resistant. So now he's on Cefdinir. I mean, I'm glad I'm not the crazy mom taking her kid to the pedi for no reason, but damn. Kid can't catch a break.

Ugh, so many hugs. I had a earaches until I was 7, for the tubes and all but I still remember fondly of my dad rocking me to sleep while I cried my little eyes out (I'm guessing I was 5?) I don't remember the pain at all, just the love. I know it's too early to form memories but I'm sure F is soaking up your love through this.

Thanks. He's certainly getting all the snuggles, I just wish he felt better. Or, could sleep somewhere other than on me. lol.
Eta: But, there are certainly worse things than being trapped under this little guy.

I took both kids to the pedi today. They wanted to see K for a follow up from her strep and I wanted them to make sure H didn't have an ear infection. He doesn't. He has hand, foot and mouth:| Who else has dealt with HFM? So far he just has blisters in his throat so I'm not sure how much worse it will get.

Ugh. I have to still do her 7 mo pictures plus her dedication ones (in her dress before she outgrow it!). I want SO badly to have them done. Any recommendations?

My DD had it last summer. She mostly was just sleepy and had a few days of high fevers. Hope your LO gets over it quickly.

I found out my great grandma is in the hospital with pneumonia. I really hope she is able to fight it, but it scares me with her age. I'm going home next week, so hopefully I will get to see her.
