So I took my car back to the dealership today with N. Apparently the part they replaced on Tuesday lead to the timing chains needing replaced today. She ordered the parts and it will take 5-6 days to fix. She is giving me a loaner at no cost. And we'll probably be taking the loaner on vacation because we leave next Saturday. If I get the car to her on Tuesday (which will be a feat since I work), then it still won't be done until Saturday, which is when we leave. I'm just hoping that she can upsize us to the Acadia so we'll have more room to travel. Like renting a larger car, but not having to pay for anything Guess it works out in the long run. I only have a three day weekend because I offered to work next Tuesday since the therapist is off. I want the patients to have a face that they recognize, and supposedly the owner who hired me but has yet to meet me was to cover. I kind of wanted to show him that I'm worth more than he's paying me, but now there's talk that we may close. Who knows anymore?!
The answer is yes, I'm going to act like I haven't been gone all week.
ladymike, WTF. I ended up saying this to Mh and his response was "he's trying to sleep with her, her husband should kick his ass." In case you forgot that we're all still in high school. Also, yes. Eat another donut.
sjep922, GAME OF THRONES WAS AWESOME!!!! I "I told you so"'Ed so hard in MHs face.
graciest719, That sounds overwhelming. Drink all the drinks for me, mama.
graciest719 thanks for the idea! Realistically I should just lose weight, but I want to wear it NOW! And then I think maybe I should size up, but I don't want it loose and frumpy.
coleybug13 I must see the Julia's!! I want the all also. But need to really figure out if I like the size I just got or if I should go up one.
TheTuna15 such a good episode!! Omg I love it. Didn't expect a couple things that happened though!
maddisonrose, BTW! I sent out your leggings. But I sent them USPS instead of UPS, which I'm kicking myself for because apparently they may be delayed because of some postal strike? Idk. Eventually leggings will arrive to you.
Hai! Day 2 of the conference is going well. I now realize why I never overly-excelled at school. I have the attention span of a gnat. The speakers are good. But after 60+ minutes of the same person speaking, I'm over it, hence my doodling and writing my daughter's name in bubble letters.
I'm excited for tonight. Most folks are heading back home, but I didn't want to rush around after the conference. I'm leaving tomorrow. Sooooo, I have every intention of going to the fancy restaurant at my hotel and enjoying a nice dinner and a few drinks in peace. Because, as of tomorrow, my dinners will again involve a screechy toddler who won't eat.
malvo, adult learning theories have proven that adult attention span lasts about 60-75 minutes. So, when I teach, I always break every 60 minutes. It's not just you, it's everyone! Enjoy your peaceful meal! I was just thinking.. ugh.. what can I make quickly for my child tonight that she'll eat and not cause a riot over.. hahaha.
Im so ready for the weekend! Tonight we are going to MILs to swim assuming P feels better (he wont be going under water, ofcourse). I only got my bathing suit a few days ago and shes already making sure it goes to good use. She has demanded 3 pool dates over the next 5 days. Atleast she provides the wine, haha!

I want to love Julias, but they just look awful on me. I have tried 3 sizes and no Bueno.
H peed in her potty today!! So I went out and bought panties to see what would happen if I try to train. I have 5 days till I have to go back to work, I'll keep y'all updated on how it goes! I'm going to keep diapers for naps and nights.
We have a 4th of July party at my dad's on Saturday, then we are going tubing on Sunday.
tacocatmom, are you using cloth diapers? That's great that H is using the potty! I'll start with A soon. She will sit on the potty just not use it yet. I'm done for the week! Off to get the babies and pack for grandma's house.

tacocatmom I've been wanting to get a potty for R!! You have officially lit a fire under my butt! I'm about to get one now! Also have you tried the Julia's just as a shirt? That's how I decided I love them
So, can our kids make that connection? Like, I feel like I have to pee and I should wait to do it on this potty? I'm serious - are our kids that smart already?

Potty training?? DD2 just crapped on the floor and peed in her toy car last night during diaper free time. Does that count? She was very upset.
I took DD1 to the dentist this morning and DD2 to her 15 month well visit. Ok on both fronts except I was inadvertently 30 minutes late for the dentist appointment because I forgot to set a reminder on my phone. LO handled her shots (3) well enough. 23 pounds, very tall (?) apparently - I think they mismeasured.

I'm sorry - potty training??? How?? My kid was scared to sit in the passenger seat of my car today. I can't imagine the fear in his eyes if I put him on a toilet. Haha. But WTG H! tacocatmom!
flat0422- I know the order for 1 and for the others I just get whatever. I know that when a parent brings me a yummy treat I generally don't think twice about enjoying it so I figure they are good. I have been trying to do coffee or some other small treat once a month or so. I really do appreciate them so it's worth it to me.

flat0422 - DH is planning to get a new car within the year and I thought that he wanted a big pickup truck for him, but now he's talking about getting the Acadia for me and taking my terrain.
Welp. The hotel restaurant is a smidge fancier than I expected and I feel severely under dressed in denim skinnies and a LLR classic T. But they let me sit down without laughing, although there was a lot of non-English flying around and that always makes me nervous.
Why must I be so awkward?
I also saw quite a few people from my conference in the lobby, but this introvert has reached her limit of pleasantries with people she doesn't know too well.
tacocatmom aww yay, H! Too cute. We dont have a little potty but I sit P on the toilet once a day and he goes. Im curious to see how the 5 days of potty training goes!

We got H a little potty for her 1st birthday. Have been putting her on it just to get use to the idea and today was a total surprise. I figure it can't hurt to try! I hate having 2 in diapers, so expensive!
We went through 9 pairs of undies today. Why must they pee so much?? I'm not giving up though!
ruemorgan yay for P!! I figured boys would be harder, but maybe not!
I bought e a potty chair over the weekend. She mainly just plays with it. Sunday she peed and pooped on the kitchen floor then pooped in the tub monday.
tacocatmom ive never noticed one sex potty training better than the other. But the kids who come into my class at 24m already potty training at home (casual on the weekends) do finish potty training much faster! Except poop. Pretty much every kid hates to poop on the potty.
I have vague memories of my father potty training me. Apparently I sat on the toilet forever and didn't go. He put a diaper back on me and I immediately went. He then whipped the diaper across the room (this part I remember) and I was forever potty trained after that. While effective, I do not recommend this method of potty training. #scarredforlyfe
