Bad mommy alert: I took Max to the babysitter this morning. We are leaving for the Eastern Shore at lunchtime, and I have to get the Pig to the kennel and pack for 4 people (which is turning out to be a Herculean task). No time for baby shenanigans! I feel bad, but then again there is no way I could have gotten our crazy dog to the kennel with a baby.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to a weekend of good food, strong drinks and shared parenting responsibilities. Thank God my parents are closer. Anyone else doing anything fun for the holiday weekend?

ladymike What the actual fuck. Did he text you because he thought you were going to call? He is nuts.
But tell me- is he cute? In my head he's hot in an aging frat boy, ex-baseball player way. Like he still wears a ball cap that says Cocks backward on the weekends. Bonus points for a pic.
graciest719, you are not a bad mom for taking the baby to the sitter. Juggling dogs and babies is hard! Plus it'll make getting ready to go easier. We are headed to my grandmas tomorrow. I really want to take the day off today to pack while the kids are in school. A has her 15 month check up today. We're in the waiting room and she keeps screaming "moar" and trying to pull my shirt up.
ladymike glad you didn't call. He needs to figure out how to get his life together.
My manager has been in the office 5 days this whole month. The rest we never knew if she was going to be or not. Even the other manager has no clue what is going on with her. The hired her because she was supposed to be better then the last. She is here less then the other idiot we had.
DO YOU HAVE ANY JULIAS? SELL ME ONE. I'M ADDICTED.
I just got my first Julia in the mail yesterday! It's SO soft and comfy. But I definitely feel like the pooch in my belly is a bit too obvious in it. I don't feel like I need to size up, soooo maybe I need to get rid of the pooch more quickly? Ugh.
Morning! I'm trying to start my day with a little act of kindness by bringing sbux to the daycare and preschool teachers. BUT I'M STUCK IN THE DRIVETHRU LINE FROM HELL! It isn't even that long. Just going soooooo slow :/ V is not pleased right now.
LesleyEO, you are so nice to take sbux to DC! But no on the poop!!! Hopefully it won't be too bad to clean. Our 15 mo appointment went great. A is 22 pounds! And she has hand foot and mouth. Joy!
