babys2015 I honestly wouldn't have turned him around! This freaks me out, we turned his seat after his appointment because we thought it was ok and in my car he had no leg room . The CFST says that's ok, they will find a comfy way to seat themselves.
kfg10427 I'm in Tx and pretty much all of my friends with littles under 2 have them forward facing! I think because the law is so new that no one knows (or they don't care).

kfg10427 - Don't feel like an idiot at all! You had his best interest in mind when you talked to your pedi and now you're fixing the issue. I'm glad you're turning him back around. You'll be surprised how he gets comfy with his legs, even with limited leg room. We also take Ns shoes off in the car so he can't destroy my seat. He actually yells at me if I forget and leave them on. Haha. The joke in our house is that I'm going to drop N off at college in a rear facing seat
This little fuss budget had to be at just the right level of recline, in my lap, watching Lion Guard after dinner tonight. If I moved at all, she would turn around, shake her finger at me, and say NO NO NO. Nothing else would do. We were all sooo ready for bedtime tonight!
rvamama he is forward facing, the next one down cuts into his neck and shoulders. ETA: he is 33 inches tall and 29.14 pounds so he is wide. babys2015 it is armpit level but covered up by his giant egg roll lol.
Well, it's your baby and your choice but I'd switch back to rf at lease until he's taller (if you want to ff) where the straps are at the right level.
Edit- saw the updates on the info you were provided and that you'll be turning W back around. Don't feel like an idiot at all! I WOULD HAVE FELT LIKE AN IDIOT if something happened after I saw this picture if I didn't say anything. I make it my duty to share the info I know.
Don't feel like an idiot, kfg10427! Pennsylvania just signed RFing until two into law. I know a few people who went to FF and now need to switch it back.
We tend to be suuuuuuuuper car seat conscious over here. We just want what is best for W!
