ladymike LO will be in her crib as long as possible M never tried to climb out and was in there until 3. It was an easy transition to a bed at that point.
xmina4x I am so happy about the reprieve from the heat. I put on shorts this morning and was cold.
AFM nothing much to report. The kids are at camp/daycare so I'm trying to get stuff done that I couldn't do with them there. It's nominally successful. I went bra shopping yesterday and I completely reorganized our pantry. Plus I'm getting some reading done. And planning for school. So not a waste yet.
So, my kid's iron levels only went up .3 to 9.8.. since her last appt.. and she should be at 12. We've been doing daily supplement, more meats, iron rich foods as often as I can. Ugh. The doctor said to increase her supplement and we'll check again.
Anyone else experiencing this or have experienced this? I wasn't at this portion of her appt, I wish I could have asked more. Like, will she outgrow this? Is she okay? What else can I do? I really don't want to spiral out on Googling shit; I've already done enough and I don't want to worry more than I should!
maddisonrose yay for new floors and help with D! So exciting.
xmina4x glad you're getting a break from the heat. Enjoy the aquarium tomorrow!
ruemorgan yay for a new phone and face timing with your H!! That will be so nice for all of you!
ladymike +1 to keeping A in her crib as long as I can. I just picture her never staying in bed and playing all night. Nooooope. Not ready. She sleeps too well.
ladymike I tend to be anemic (very much so when pregnant). It's a bitch trying to get those numbers up. It sounds like you're doing everything right and doing what you can. It'll be OK!
Busy day! Work, picked A up from DC and played/snacked then put her down for a nap.
I cleaned out and organized our pantry when I put her down so I'm glad that's done!
Her sleep schedule at DC is so strange. It's an in home DC at my mums next door neighbors house. I pick A up around 1:30 most days. Tuesday she woke from nap at 11:30. Wednesday at 1:30. Today she didn't nap. And DC lady says she only ever naps about 35-40 min.
She has been going there since 3.5 mo old. But She never sleeps well other places, so I'm wondering if that's why.
Just glad she's getting a good nap in at home now!
sjep922, Sounds like you had a productive day! malvo, all the beer to you! I feel your pain. rvamama, I hope your Hs fasting glucose is ok. Add exercise and cut out as much processed food as possible. Don't take it all away because then it's all you want! It took 45 minutes to get the girls to bed again. What am I doing wrong? We did our normal routine and then A screamed for 30 minutes after refusing to nurse so I just put her to bed. I tried to soothe and she wasn't having it. I eventually gave in and tried to nurse. She fell asleep but woke up as soon as I tried to lay her down. I eventually walked out and she passes out in 5 minutes. I'm tired and have a million things to do after bed time! Plus I want to shop for new LLR!
Today was the beginning of our mini peak season. We are gearing up for a huge sale, so everyone is trying to be at their top performance levels. We got a speech today about taking care of our bodies because we are industrial athletes! But I made rate all last week and I stayed 30 pieces above rate all day today. W was happy to see me when I got home, and for the first time in two weeks went to sleep without a 45 minute long screaming temper tantrum. I hope everyone gets some good rest.
bekbek thanks! I plan to turn our eating around regardless of this being the start of a trend. It's enough to scare me for him!
Busy fricken evening. Edit- hit send too soon.
F was a mess upon walking in this evening so she ate dinner right away while I cooked real dinner. Then we walked down the street to get d and chat with the neighbor and came back for real dinner- which she also ate.
H is under the weather so it all fell on me. TGIF tomorrow because I am over this week!
malvo Don't feel like there's a rush to get rid of the pacifier. There are moms on my J13 board that are working on getting rid of the pacifier.
ladymike D switched to a regular bed at around 22 months old since we needed the crib for C. I have no idea when we'll switch C. We haven't even thought about it yet.
