Triple paste is my favorite! Honestly, what helped clear up A's chronic rash was a bath every single night (sometimes just soaping up her bottom) and then air time.
buttercup do you cloth diaper or disposable? I ask because the yeast can live in the cloth diapers even after being washed. I nannied for a little guy who had chronic yeast rashes and they figured out it was his cloth diapers.

After each poop rinse off in the sink with water and then air dry the butt. You can use a fan to speed it up. Then slather on your fav butt cream (I like boudreauxs). The key is to wash every time. It's a lot of work for a day or two but it works really well.
I am also trying to wipe at home with clean rags and water. Will the yeast stay on those?
Yes and bleach kills it. I used viva paper towels for a couple of days when I was desprate and didnt want to constantly bleach the wipes. Have you notice anything tht helps? Did you change bath products recently?
No! He went to daycare and it is worse again. It was bleeding and he sat with the director naked. :-( Trying a few more things and calling doctor again. Silly sensitive skin.
Poor buddy! My LO has had a bad one since Thursday... I feel like I should take out some stock with pampers based on the number of diapers I change per day. He STTN but I feel like I should wake him up halfway through to change him... But, that just seems counterintuitive to everything I believe in!
