So I posted a while ago about a job opportunity my husband had with the National Guard. Long story short but we are taking it, and we have to move within the next two months.
Just let me say that my brain is fried over this on so many levels. But the reason I'm posting here is because we're moving to Knoxville TN and I need to find an amazing hospital at which to have our baby! We had a med-free birth with a midwife at a hospital in our current home town. We want to go that route again. This time around there is a tiny risk due to low-lying placenta, so we like the idea of delivering at a hospital in case of an emergency, but with midwives who fully endorse, encourage support med-free births. If anybody has suggestions for hospitals or even just ways to go about finding one similar to our current hospital, I'd be very grateful! Obviously we can visit and tour places. This may be a dumb/obvious question, but should I ask my current midwife for recommendations?
