At my ob appt. Waiting to give a urine sample. I gave one earlier but want another for uti testing. I'm chugging water but really don't feel like going. Sigh. Plus I realized after I parked in the garage that I forgot my wallet. Oops.
littlelion, I swear I need to pee all the time except for when I'm as the OB office. Once I walk in the office I have the shyest bladder ever!
I spent all day yesterday packing up all my pre-pregnancy clothing into bins to pack away since I won't be fitting into them anytime soon. My closet and dresser seem so empty now.

mine's totally the opposite..I can pee right before my appt and the second I get in that office, it feels like I'm about to explode...and of course, that means they always keep me waiting 15 or 20 mins before I can use the restroom.

Update from me: DS developed a low-grade fever on Sat (one of the symptoms) so I came back to NYC a day early and am now staying at a hotel while I wait out the bloodwork results. Nurse said it should only take a few days. They took pity on me and snuck in a quick ultrasound and I saw little girl's heart beating and even saw her open and close her mouth! I'm trying to stay positive since she looks good and I don't have any parvo symptoms yet.
Actually glad to be back at work since it is taking my mind off of things.
legalbeagle, I hope that DS feels better soon. Fevers scare the shit out of me.
I bought 2 new maternity shirts and 3 nursing tank tops last week from Kohls, they're being delivered Thursday and I'm super excited!! I have a few already from last time around, but these new ones were really cute and I had a gift card anyway.
tbonequeen13 me too! I've had to ask to go while I'm waiting because I was afraid I was going to have an accident if I waited any longer. LOL
legalbeagle yay for the u/s. Fingers crossed you don't get it.
@kcnumbers I don't like zucchini either (haven't tried it and won't), but that's funny.
DS2 ended up with both ears infected again over the weekend. I called his ENT office today and was able to put him on a list in case there are any cancels for the next available date which is two weeks away, but would still be 10 days sooner than his scheduled date. Fingers crossed they get an opening. My poor little guy.

Zucchinni haters: next time you're in Chicago visit Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant and try the fried zucchinni app...sooooo good. I've tried others (like the Cheesecake Factory) and no, those don't even compare.

littlelion, My bladder is all over the place...I feel like I pee and 15 mins later there it is again. I battle the uti's in my pregnancies. But I actually have uped my greek yogurt intake and it helped a lot with the frequent burning issues.
legalbeagle, many many hopes the symptoms don't show up for you.
hmr11913, I bought about 100 dollars worth of cardigan (if you will) from motherhood maternity and some tank tops..pretty excited.
mrswillie, ohhhh fried zucchini or zucchini bread your missing out..I am telling you. Ugh to sick kids and the nuance of trying to get them to someone to look at them when symptoms arise.

Totally random, but my BFF's husband was one of the chef's at the Schaumburg location for a long time.
littlelion, I went for my 2nd tri screening bloodwork this morning and I forgot my whole purse at home. Is it too early to blame on pregnancy brain?
Becca, yup most of my pre-preg clothes are packed up and in storage.
legalbeagle, glad little squish is doing well and I hope DS feels better soon and that you have your immunity already. Scary.
AFM, in work late after getting bloodwork done (and going back home for my purse), computer took forever to boot, and now I'm starving and ready for lunch.

Hi!
It's been a crazy few days here. Saturday I did yardwork and 100% over exerted myself. I'm still having sciatic pain. However, my yard looks amazing.
Sunday morning I got a call that my grandmother passed away. She's been sick for awhile and has had three strokes in 10 years, so it wasn't a surprise, but still sad nonetheless. I had to book flights to Houston today and damn, that was expensive. At least it's only me and DS going, and he still qualifies as a lap infant. And we're staying at my favorite cousin's house, so that will be fun.
It's my youngest sister's birthday this week, so we are planning a get together at our family's favorite restaurant, Pappsito's, one night. I'm so sad I can have a giant margarita, but bring on all the Tex-Mex! And Whataburger!
kaydee0402 So sorry to hear about you grandmother.
Also, as a Texan who once spent three years in Denver, I know exactly what you mean about missing Pappasito's and Whataburger. I've already demanded two trips to Pappasito's for fajitas this pregnancy, but thankfully I have easy access.
