Hello all, hope everyone had a nice weekend. I spent some time tackling a couple of bigger projects, glad to get those out of the way. I've spent the last hour or so doing random paperwork and other junk. Still need to go and fold about 6 baskets of laundry. FUNTIMES. I'm watching one of DD1'S friends Tuesday and Thursday this week, so today is the day to get things done. Thankfully the children are doing pretty well self entertaining.
This board has always been pretty open to most any discussion/check-in. If you have an idea, feel free to just run with it! I started back up with meal plan Mondays.

We left our Aunt and Uncle's this morning and have been exploring where H's great great grandparents lived originally. We've been doing this for 3 hours almost. We're supposed to go to the museum, but he likes this more. I'm getting tired of being in the car. We check in at our cabin this evening.
DD and I went to the park earlier. Now I'm trying to do laundry and pick up a little bit. My parents are going to be here Thursday and DD's bday party is Saturday. I'm actually really looking forward to her party...she'll be 3, so she's starting to understand the concept of a bday party. So far she told me she wants cake, ice cream, and party hats for her "Happy Day".

We didn't get out of our pajamas today haha but it was nice. During naptime I decided to start organizing our bedroom, mainly my closet so at least I did something productive. So far I have a trash bag full of clothes to donate and finally have enough hangers for everything clean!

Well, both people cancelled on the blueberry picking/indoor climbing place and my friend who is moving away last-minute invited me to her parents' house an hour away. So we quickly replanned a road trip and visited, but their very fun-seeming museum was closed b/c it's Monday, which sent my children into hysterics. So we headed to their splash pad, which was slightly lame, but DD really had fun while DS cried--I think because all the water was high and he only likes the very small fountains at our home splash pad. Then we went to their huge wooden park, where both kids had a blast but I nearly had a heat stroke. So now trying to do chores and fighting a terrible headache...must be pollen because I think it is a sinus thing and DH snored all night too...
It was so nice out this morning but quickly turned very hot and horribly muggy, so we then locked down the fort and avoid going out. We got stuff done around the house, played 6476 games, and video chatted with family that we always have a hard time finding overlapping available free time to chat as often as we would like. Hopefully humidity will be better tomorrow as we actually need to go out, but I am too afraid to check the weather forecast, so I will live in blissful ignorance for now.
