Had more ugly tears about daycare after LO went to bed last night. I know it's time and he'll really benefit from the socialization and structure, but this place isn't my first or even second choice place (both wait listed until fall 2017). Can't I just quit my job and SAH for a year?
Hape - Early Explorer - All-In-One Wooden Easel with Paper Roll www.amazon.com/dp/B00II021GK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_xZoHxb1N4XKDA Just snagged this deal ^^^ if anyone is looking for an easel. We're putting it away for lo's birthday. I liked that you could adjust the height for my short little guy.
Not too much going on today. I need to run some errands this morning- Costco and the grocery store. It's supposed to be 1,000 degrees outside so I see some pool time happening this afternoon.
My dad is babysitting tonight so my mom, DH and I can go do paddleboard yoga. I'm so excited.
laceysbryan hugs to you! I know it wasn't your 1st or 2nd choice, but hopefully the teachers/director can make you feel comfortable. I'm sure lo will be so loved and make lots of friends when the time comes for him to start.
Off to clinical! I was drowning in school work all weekend. Blech.
Having all the feels because today is LO's 18 mo appointment and I'm going to miss it. I haven't missed a single check up for any of my kids! Mom guilt is slaying my guts right now.

Crazy heat wave. Hanging out inside with the a/c blasting for now. May head to my parents' place to use their pool this afternoon. Emily got into the markers during craft time this morning...

Stay strong! It'll be hard on both of you to adjust but like you said, it'll be good for him and he'll make so many friends! I love seeing Leo enter the room and his buddies come over to say hi.

I forgot my cell phone at home today. Boo. But I got free garlic bread which went really well with my leftover lasagna. So yay. But I'm still hungry. Boo. It's a roller coaster of a Tuesday.
Leo went from part time to full time early in June but it wasn't changed in the system for that 1st week. So, the directors (there's 2) have charged me full time each week even though there's a credit. 2 wks ago one of them tells me I have a credit and even though I deny that and pay the full amt, she rolls that over to the next week and tells me I only owe $100 for the following week. The next week I get the other director who says, no, that's not right but then quotes me too high of an amount. Supposedly, they fixed the account over the weekend, but then they tell DH we only owe half the amount this week. Ay yai yai. I had to go in this morning and argue the fact that I should owe more. Either fix it or let me take the credit and don't change your minds again! [\spoiler]
that is so cute! Leo needs a harness. Even when we're walking along just fine, he thinks it's fun to turn and run the other way...stopping to make sure I am going to give chase.
Uh oh, this Amazon app is making it a little *too* easy to buy stuff. Lol I've been good so far though. I have my eye on a block set, some play food and a board game for dh's birthday.
Lo was a riot at the grocery store today. I let him walk instead of going in the cart because I just needed to grab a couple of things. He freaked out over a Minion display. He was pointing and babbling all excitedly. He was also doing his "sneaky walk" (when he thinks he's sneaking up on something he gets this goofy expression on his face and waddles with his knees all bent- it's the funniest thing and I've never been able to get a video of it.) all through the store. I was cracking up the whole time.
