Welcome! This is a weekly check in for those of us who are pregnant after loss and/or infertility. This check in is a safe place to share all things that come with being PgAL and/or PAIF, and to give support to others.

How far along are you? 8 weeks!
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically -- not so great. Emotionally, the constant exhaustion is wearing on me. I'm trying to keep it in perspective and remember that it passes. PgAL brain is in check.
Any appointments or milestones this week? I'm excited about 8 weeks! No appointments any time soon.
QOTW: What is the rest of your summer looking like? Any plans? I'm having an eventful summer! I'm graduating in 30 days and wrapping up my part-time job. We're also moving in with my parents while sorting out housing. I want to go away for a week in August, but I don't have plans yet.

notagoddess - Graduating?! How exciting! Congrats Sorry PgAL brain is rearing it's ugly head.
How far along are you? 8w5d
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically the nausea/puking is worse than ever. 12x in the last 2 days, and heaving in between. I'm not sure what's up with that. I've lost some weight and am having trouble keeping much down. I plan to talk to our doc about it tomorrow. Emotionally I'm okay. I guess I'm numb honestly.
Any appointments or milestones this week? Yes - our first appointment is tomorrow morning bright and early! We'll start off with an u/s and then meet with the doc. I'm pretty much freaking out since our mmcs were discovered at our first appointments and I had all my symptoms then, too. FX we get great news tomorrow. Any T&Ps you have to spare would be greatly appreciated.
QOTW: Our summer is jam-packed. We have a big party this weekend at my parents' house; a beach trip the last full week of July; a baptism next month; and lots of parties in between. It's all fun, but it all involves a lot of driving, planning, and cooking. I'm tired LOL And we're already filling up the fall calendar as well. Phew!

notagoddess, congratulations on your upcoming graduation!! So exciting!
oldbaylover1024, all the happy thoughts and well-wishes for a perfect 1st appointment tomorrow!
How Far Along: 9 weeks
How Feeling Physically: pretty good, all considered. Still really tired and queasy, but I'm managing. Emotionally: really well. I've been able to find the heartbeat with our doppler 3x now, which is a HUGE relief.
Appts/ Results: 1st appt is Monday. They said to plan on it taking 3 hrs!! They better include an ultrasound with that.
QOTW: Our summer plans are nonexistent for the moment. ***LC Mentioned*** My oldest is in early stages of therapy, so we can't really go anywhere for an extended time. But, having a beach only a couple blocks away means lots of swimming time. I'm ok with taking it easy and not doing the traveling thing. I'm too tired anyway!
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically feeling really blah early evening till I fall asleep. Not throwing up but just queasy and so tired. I cannot wait for 1st Tri to be over!!!
Any appointments or milestones this week? None this week.
QOTW: What is the rest of your summer looking like? Any plans? Not a lot planned. Just staying on track with house decisions so we stay with out late October/early November move in!

Had our first appointment today and everything looked great! Measuring right on track at 8w6d and our EDD remains 2/17! We know it's still kind of early, but seeing a strong heartbeat puts our minds at ease. Thanks for all the well wishes

How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically - nausea all the time, puking is a lot less since I started meds last week.
Any appointments or milestones this week? I had a scan on Monday and there was such a beautiful heartbeat of 159. Every week that passes eases the PGAL brain a bit.
QOTW: What is the rest of your summer looking like? Any plans? We were supposed to go away for our anniversary in a couple of weeks but we needed to buy a new washer/dryer last night so I think that might be cancelled. . That was our major summer plans.
Physically - nausea isn't as bad so I have hope it'll go away soon. Also tired. Any time I try to work out I feel like I'm going to pass out so I'm going to mention it to my doc next week I think. Emotionally - I'm a hot mess these days. That's really the only way to say it.
No appointment until next week.
QOTW: We are taking a trip for our anniversary but that's about it.

Update: All is good. I cried so much during the appointment the RE had trouble getting measurements, but he eventually got them. Beautiful heartbeat of 175 and measuring right at 8w2d.
