I really, truly thought I was going into labor last night. Because of course, I have a shit ton to do today. But thankfully contractions stopped around 3am. We have a home appraisal at 10am that I madly cleaned the house for. So as of right now, you could eat off my damn floors. Hopefully, this refinance will be done ASAP. Then at 4:30 K has an ultrasound that I've been putting off scheduling. After that, Sadie has permission to show up. I'm also waiting on my retest of my bile salts, so it may end up that she doesn't have a choice but to show up this weekend.
Good morning! M was super restless last night and got up earlier than usual. Maybe the shots are finally catching up to her?
SO was home this morning, but he thankfully stayed out of the way and didn't royally mess with my routine. I did make him sit on the couch with M so I could pack the car and brush my teeth. She normally attaches to my leg as I try to do those things, so it was quite nice having someone to occupy her for a few minutes!
ajacot924 M also seems to be showing her frustration a lot more. She screams bloody murder when you take something she wants (like the steak rolls for dinner and baby body wash... you don't need those things, kid!). So, I feel you on the demon baby. I'm hoping it'll all get better once they can affectively communicate.
+1 for angry screaming child of doom. Everything is a fight. She wants to dress herself, but isn't physically capable of doing it yet so we scream. Wants to feed herself with the fork, but rice is too hard to pick up so we scream. Can't have the lint roller? Let's scream about it. It's exhausting.
malvo it's nice to hear that other kids are doing the same thing that A is. I hope it helps when they can communicate more also. Because screaming and flailing just isn't working for anyone.
Morning. Well R had a great time yesterday with her friend and I'm glad I was able to take them out.
A skipped her afternoon nap and had a total meltdown as soon as our pizza got to the table. So that was.... Fun. I hope it was due to lack of sleep and not just being a total brat.
Either way, I'm glad I'm not the only one and it's an age thing... Not just A being awful.
Work today. Need to workout afterwards because I skipped it due to taking R out yesterday. I'm sleepy. Need to go get coffee.
The last 12 or so hours have literally been ridiculous. It started with H going out to meet some old friends last night so I was at home with the kids. C took her toy teapot and smacked me in the face with it. Yes it hurt. So I put it up on the couch where she couldn't get to it. Then I'm laying on the floor next to the couch and D decides he wants the teapot. He goes to grab it, it falls out of his hand, and lands right on my nose. Ouch. My face is still in pain.
Then H comes home and we have some frustrations between us. C wakes up at 2 am and will not fall back asleep. Finally by 4 am, I'm going back asleep. Up at 6am. I leave the house. Something told me to check the traffic but I forgot. The highway is shut down due to someone shooting and killing someone on the highway. Wtf
I meangle my way around town and finally get to work. I get a call from H that he didn't see that I moved the stroller this morning and he ran into it with his car. It's totaled (the stroller, not his car). This is the second or third time doing this.
TheTuna15, beautiful name. I love the name Rose. jcar, wow! What a Friday! Hopefully the rest of your day gets better. I've had a busy day. Lots of stuff to get done at work plus work drama. Always drama!!!! It's resolved now. And I'm headed to the allergist with LG. Then we are going shopping!!! I will be buying all the wine at some point. I'll send you some jcar! And +1 to screaming, hitting baby. I hope it stops soon.
We are ahead at work even with the prime day sales, so I took the VTO offer and came home. I am laying on the couch, hubs is passed out (he works nights) and Wayne is at Gran and PawPaws until after lunch. They did call overtime next week too, but instead of five 11 hour shifts, it will only be 4.

TheTuna15 Love that name!! I hope your day is nice and easy
jcar you get all the beers tonight. Sorry for the rough 24 hours
pearsforpoops YESSSS! Missed you and your sass around here
malvo, I'm jealous of your ability to get everything done in the morning with a toddler attached to your leg and still keep cool about it. I feel like having to get us ready and out the door in the morning is the most stressful thing in the world
