DD was two months this past Tuesday - time is flying!
At her appointment she was 10lbs5oz and 23.2", so definitely on the tall side! She is in the 0-3 or 3mos clothes, but I think we will have the problem of her being too long for the smaller things soon!
She is getting the hang of nighttime sleep with a good 4-5hr chunk routinely followed by another 2-3hr chunk before she is awake for morning. Daytime sleep is hit or miss if I'm not holding her, but we have been working on getting her to go down in her crib. She will stay for about 30 min at a time if she is swaddled and has her paci. We got an hour one time so I'm hopeful! I'm trying to be in tune with when she naturally gets sleepy to eventually determine a schedule.
As for milestones she definitely giving us social smiles! She loves flirting with the painting above our bed, but eventually gets mad at it for not flirting back. She is really strong now and holding her head up a lot when we hold her. She hates tummy time, but is good at it. She is following toys and people and noise with her eyes and is making a ton new sounds. Way more interactive! It is just so fun to see her seeing the world now!

Miss C turned two months on Wednesday! She is 10lb 3oz and 21 3/4 in long. That puts her in the 21% so she's a small one, but for four weeks early she's doing well. The doctor was happy with her growth. She had to get her shots and that was slightly traumatic for me, ha ha.
She is in size 0-3 clothes and a size 1 diaper now. she just moved up into these clothes this week. Though I'm happy for her to grow, there's a few cute outfits she only wore once that I'm sad to see go.
She's now a social smiler and has even laughed a few times. It's really the cutest thing. She's now been interested in looking at hanging toys and I'm thinking she might start understanding that she can bat at them soon. She's not much of a tummy time fan, but has started pushing up with her arms! She's holding her head up like a champ. I'm excited for when she can hold it up on her own all the time, so she doesn't feel quite so fragile.
She's sleeping better now, usually one 4-5 hour stretch then one 2 hour stretch. Last night she did 6 and it was glorious!
Ooo, I can't wait for the interaction and babbling! Enjoy it extra on me!
I will! It's so cool! The first time she made a noise that wasn't crying or grunting I was caught off guard. Like was that a baby noise?!? It was too cute!
woodengirl07 shots were traumatic for me too! We got a 6 hour stretch last week! My boobs woke me up right before she did actually . I keep hoping we will get another one soon, but her shots did a number on her sleeping habits so we are just getting back to our 4hr stretch again.
O is solidly on the 2% for height & weight. At his appointment he came in at 8lbs 15oz, and 21.5" long. He's a peanut but following his own curve, so pediatrician was pleased with his growth. He is still in newborn clothing, but starting to out grow the smaller stuff. We have started to pull out the 0-3 clothes. He has blown up several NB diapers so we are transitioning him to size 1s. They are HUGE but contain his poop situation.
He is sleeping a solid 4-6 hour chunk followed by a 2-3 hour nap before he's up for the day. Those first six weeks were brutal but we survived!
He is definitely doing social smiles, which kill me dead. He also has become more attentive to his environment & has started to track. We are working on grasping. He loves tummy time.

My little peanut is 2 months old!
He is 9lb 15oz, which is 5th percentile and 22 inches long, which is 15th percentile. He seems to have declared his growth curve and is sticking to it! He recently switched to size 1 diapers but is still in NB clothes for the most part.
He sleeps one 5-6 hour stretch overnight but otherwise likes to be fed every 2 hours at a minimum. Recently he has decided 3am is playtime. Mom doesn't agree.
Social smiles have appeared in full force in the past week and they are the highlight of my life. He is cooing and holds himself upright very well with some support. He loves playing on his back on a blanket, kicking his feet and cooing, staring at the world around him, listening to stories or singing. He still hates bath time, having a dirty diaper, or waiting for more than 2 seconds for food delivery.
My premie girl was 2 months yesterday. She is 9.4 lbs in the 7% and 20.25 inches long in the 3%.
She eats every three hours at night. She is smiling and cooing a bit. She doesn't mind tummy time. She HATES baths. She likes to run in the stroller with me and doesn't mind the car seat. She enjoys the ergo and her sister.
C is 2 months today! He was 8 lbs 4 oz at his last check-up and goes back next week for his official 2 month well visit. He isn't on the charts yet, but if we adjust for him being early he's in the teens/low 20th percentile. He is just now really filling out his newborn clothing so we probably have another few weeks for those. He's a great sleeper and usually gives us 5-6 hour stretches at night!
Likes: Smiling, eating, bouncy chair, big brother playing with him, the k'tan
Dislikes: Hiccups, being in the car at night (he screams until we turn on the interior light - wonderful)
"Accomplishments": He has visited 3 states so far and dipped his toes in the ocean already! He consistently rolls from belly to back, holds his head up really well and is just a strong baby. He's small but mighty!
birdhut, a lot of our LOs that are hitting 8 weeks right now came early so they were a little smaller than the babes born later on your nugget is perfect
A is about 11 pounds, I think, maybe 12? We don't go to the doctor until next week, I'll update then. I think she's pretty long. 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. She still has a full head of hair, loves to be carried in the k'tan, gives lots of social smiles, coos while smiling (my favorite!), is a champ at eating but spits up a crazy amount, and sleep is very random-some nights she will sleep the entire night and others she will wake up every hour or two crying. I can't figure her out, some days she is so happy and laid-back, and others like today, she screams and is unsettled a good portion of the day. She does well in the car and is indifferent about baths and pacis. She adores having her head rubbed or hair washed. She does not like being put down or laying flat on her back.
We love her to pieces! Tonight I cried while holding her, thinking about how much I love her and how thankful I am that she's here, she's healthy, and she's mine. That sounds sappy but it's the truth!
Andrea thanks! She's actually starting to thin out but I think it's because she got taller. She also started Zantac and isn't eating constantly since she's feeling better. Even so I think she's perfect the way she is
Ds2 is 2 months today! He's well over 12lbs. He's just outgrowing newborn sleepers and settling into 0-3months. Size 1 diaper. Social smiles and a talker! His favorite time to talk is first thing in the morning and right before bed....I like to think he's trying to delay falling asleep! He likes his play mat, sitting in his high chair while we have meals, and watching his brother. Sleep is becoming a little more predictable. He does one long stretch thn the second stretch after that feeding is a crapshoot. Sometimes 3 hours, other times he's up after 1 hour with gas/spit up issues. He's stretching his feeds to around the 3 hours Mark, and winding down to 2 hours in the evening. I'm trying to enjoy this stage, but I'm finding I want him to get older because they do get more fun and interactive.
I find that I keep wanting DS2 to get older, too. They are so much more fun when they are laughing, playing with toys and napping 2-3 predictable times of day. I feel like all I do is try to get him to sleep and stay asleep all day and tell DS1 and DD to be quiet because he's sleeping. I know this stage doesn't last forever, but it's my least favourite.
Baby R turned two months yesterday. He is 12lb 5 oz and 24 inches long. Tall and skinny like dada. He's in 48th % for weight and 77 % for height. He is wearing 0-3 months clothes but we'll be switching to 3 month this weekend when I get the box out. He is wearing size 1 diapers but switching to 2 when this box runs out. We also started wearing cloth at home too.
He is social smiling, talking, kicking and grasping on to toys and my hair. He doesn't mind Tummy time and is holding his head and body up very well. Doctor said he was very strong today. He is super smiley right when he wakes up at 6 and we typically spend 30 minutes just the two of us talking, smiling snd sticking out our tongues at each other. He loves to mimic my expressions.
He sleeps one 4-6 hour stretch at night then a 2-3 hour stretch.
DS was 13.12 lbs and 25 inches at his two month appointment today! Apparently that is 95%ile for both. So I guess I don't need to worry about the spitting up, just an annoyance. He's in mostly 3-6 clothing but the sizes seem to vary a lot. Sleep varies a lot. Usually he does the typical 4-5 followed by 3-4 or so. He's slept through the night twice, but both times it followed long days where he was awake all day because of family events. He is smiling a lot and cooing, seems to like tummy time, does really well with keeping his head up and arching his back. He tracks with his eyes and while they apparently can only really see a foot or so, he acts like he can see quite a bit farther.
We had our 2 month appt a couple of weeks late yesterday. She's a giant at 25 inches long and 12lbs 10oz. She fits in size 0-3 or 3-6 month clothes, diaper size 1.
Night time sleep has been good, she will even go down drowsy at night if we hit the right window which I never thought would be possible. She's swaddled in blanket and the wings of a sleep sack otherwise she would easily escape. Her first strech varies from 5-7 hrs, last night she slept through the night from 815-615 which I'm not even worried about jinxing it because I know it won't be a regular thing for quite awhile, but it was awesome. I'm thinking her shots knocked her out. White noise and darkness are requirements for her to sleep well.
She gives tons of smiles, but saves the best ones for me. She loves this bug mobile above her crib and will coo at it. She also likes her tree friends playmat, the owl in particular.

C was tracking along his growth curves at his 2-month Thursday. He's grown out of 0-3 month rompers but is mostly still in the onsies and pants. We're between diaper sizes-- choose your type of leak! We mostly go with size 2. Leg hole pee leaks are better than up-the-back-blowouts.
He eats every three hours, night and day, plus or minus an hour. So we still only get 2-3 hour stretches of sleep, mostly. Not killing me, happily.
Milestones are fun! Smiles and cooing. He looooves kicking the bars of his play gym to make the hanging animals move. Loves to grab shirts and blankets and occasionally toys. Today he rolled front to back! He is juuuuust starting to get some real head lifts during tummy time, but mostly he just faceplants and drools into the quilt.
DD is the opposite! She was 50% for height and weight, but 90% for head size! DH and I laughed when they told us that.
I'm a couple weeks late with our two month stats but here they are: At her two month check-up she was 11lbs 11oz and 23" long. She's in 0-3 / 3 mo. clothes and size 1 diapers (though she has blowouts frequently so I'm not sure if that means its time to go to size 2). Loves: Bath time (smiles and coos) Hates: Getting dressed (screams the entire time you are putting clothes on her)
Sleep milestones: DD slept for 6.5 hours straight last night (10pm-4:30am) it was wonderful. I'm hoping this is the start to something new, but I'm not holding my breath. She usually wakes every 3 hours overnight. She doesn't sleep during the day without being held and she doesn't like laying flat. SaveSave

The babies turned 2 months on the 12th! Just went to their appointment this Monday -
E is 10lbs and 8.5 oz, 24 inches long. She is still in 0 - 3 clothes but I've unpacked all the 3 - 6. Unfortunately most of those are winter so hopefully she can continue to fit in 0 - 3 for a few more months.
T is 12 lbs 4 oz, 24.25 inches long. He can barely fit into 0 - 3, mostly 3 - 6. Again, most are winter clothes but I have enough short sleeves to last I think. Honestly, having too many clothes overwhelm me!
They're sleeping pretty well, one wake up anywhere between 12 and 2, and then another one around 4 - 5. All in all, things are pretty good!

E was 2 months on Tuesday.
We had our 2-month check-up today. The good news is that he's developmentally perfect. The bad news is that his weight is down to the 4th percentile. He was born in the 50s (7lb, 9oz) and has steadily declined with every visit. He's now 9lbs, 15oz. Height is 23.25. He wears 0-3 month clothing, but he does not fill it out at all.
My doctor suggested revisiting my LC for a weighted feed, because perhaps he's not transferring well--despite (or because) he's on the boob for an hour at a time, every hour or two. Including, for the past 10 days or so, at night. And then possibly follow with a pumping regimen.
I am tired because of the above sleep situation, and I am now a little worried.
Otherwise, he smiles and coos and makes this hilarious attempt at laughing.
manybellsdown I'm sorry that you are tired and worried. I'm so glad he is developmentally perfect and if you end up seeing the LC, I hope that they figure it out. Thinking of you!
He had his 2 month appointment today and he is 15 lbs and 26 in. He's wearing mostly 6 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
He took his needles fairly well. We'll see how he is tomorrow. I hope he's in an ok mood since my mom is watching him for about an hour while I take DS1 to swimming lessons.
Sleep has been ok at night. We bed share and he goes to bed between 6 and 6:30 every night. It's quite early, but he freaks out and gets worked up if he stays up any later. I go to bed at that time, too which is really early, but I kind of enjoy looking at my phone and reading some books. It's kind of my me time and I'm usually asleep by 8:30. DH deals with the older kids' bedtime and I'm thankful that he's home every evening.
DS2's daytime napping still sucks and is unpredictable. I think that's why he goes to bed so early. He seems to be staying awake for longer stretches during the day and he likes to be put down when he's awake, which is when I get some stuff done, but as soon as he wants to fall asleep, I have to hold him.
