Intro and a pansy question

Hello, there, I'm having a flower problem and then realized this board was here and thought I'd give it a go.
I'm mainly a flower person, roses, a lot of annuals and perennials, just mainly what I think looks pretty. Hoping next year to actually be able to plant a more involved garden once we move.
I live in TX, where it is unseasonable warm, even for TX right now. I planted some pansies in planters probably 3 weeks ago, and the ones in my backyard with afternoon sun are fine. But the ones in my smaller planters by the front door that get morning sun just suddenly started to droop. Like, they're alive but completely wilted over. I had pansies in those pots last year and it was never an issue. It's basically been either 40-50 degrees and raining or 70 and sunny over the last week. So I don't know if they got over watered or if there's anything I can do for them. I thought they might need water, but the soil is moist.
