He's in 12 month clothes now, starting to get tight in some of those onesies. He's in size 4 diapers.
He's still army crawling, but gets up on hands and knees fine to pull up (mostly on me) or to go from belly to sitting. He's started taking steps when we help balance him just in the last few days. He eats any and every thing, babbles up a storm, and still thinks yelling is the best. He's super social and does wonderful meeting new people. He's also quite a snuggler.
Last monthly photo was a disaster, but also funny as crap.
One of my favorite memories was his first laugh. I really wanted to hear his first before I had to go back to work. The Saturday before I went back H and I were in his room changing him when he laughed! It was so sweet and fabulous that we were both there. I possibly cried. Possibly.

The piranhas turned 1 on July 26th. What. the. heck.
How big are they? No idea. Haven't weighed them in a couple months, doing that in the next week. ETA: A is 24lbs and E is 19lbs, according to my bathroom scale.
What are they wearing? A: Size 4-5 diapers, 18 month clothes, size 6 shoes. E: Size 3-4 diapers, 12 month clothes, size 4.5 shoes.
What are they doing? Both walking really well now, I rarely see them crawl. They are starting to play with toddler toys, they are looking at books, they love being chased. E just cut her 7th tooth, A has 6 but the teething symptoms are piling up again. We are down to 2-3 bottles a day and on WCM (hooray!!), they are drinking milk and water from a cup or cup with straw.
*poof!*
Share one of your favorite memories from this past year: Too many to pick from! I suppose watching them make each other laugh is a really special thing. They find shaking their heads really funny, so I loved seeing one shake its head to get the other one to copycat for the first time, and both of them laughing about it. They're not little babies anymore, they're kids!!

Welcome to the other side Mamas!
A turned one on May 14, but she will be 12 months adjusted on Aug 6. At her 15 Month checkup last week (!!!!!) she was 17 pounds, 8.9 ounces, and 27 and a half inches tall (which is a little over twice her birth length). In the next month, she has an opthamologist appointment because there might be something going on with her eyes, a nicu follow up appointment to see how she's doing compared to her chronological age, another orthotics appointment, since her old ones are too small and she's still standing on her toes, and an early intervention team meeting.
She is still in mostly 6 month clothes, with a couple 9 month outfits that are a smidge too big, but too cute to not wear this summer.
She's been pulling up, cruising along furniture, walking with her walker, and starting to consider using a sippy cup.
Favorite memory from the past year: taking her home from the NICU! one year anniversary of this in 2 days. All the feels.
Crawling everywhere and trying to walk. He can walk with you if you are holding his hands. He finally cut a top tooth and another bottom tooth the other day so now he has 1 on top and 3 on bottom lol

So my sweet Monkey M turned one on Tuesday! I love this little boy with my whole being. Sometimes I look at him and feel like my heart will explode. It took him a long time to find our family and DH and I endured many struggles to expand our family. The fact that he is here, amazing and one year old is mind blowing some days! I can hardly remember life before he was born!
He is 24lbs 10 oz, about 30 inches (will know exactly next week at one year appointment). He is wearing mainly 18-24 month stuff and has just fit into some Nike Jordan's DS1 bought him for Christmas. Just in time for him to explore walking (still with a walker or holding hands). He has a couple consistent words (uh oh, mum mum, more, Dada, and a definite approximation of Everett) and has started signing all done. He absolutely loves his big brother and is very cuddly with anything stuffed! He goes between playing briefly with the billion toys he has or constantly wanting anything that is not a toy. He has definitely begun the toddler stage of exerting his independence and letting you know what he wants. So far melt downs are Short lived! Lol! He eats ALL the food and have almost finished formula and bottles (only 2 a day right now, hoping to have only one by September) .
My favorite memory of the past year by FAR is the moment we met him at the hospital. The car ride there, texting the social worker, checking in and crying at the nurses station with excited anticipation to meet our boy (he was in the trolley/hospital bassinet in the hallway about 12 ft from us), making everyone around us cry. The moment was so incredible when they brought him over to us and I picked him up for the first time. Our hearts melted and life would never be the same again. Not 10 minutes Later we met his birth mom, for a wonderful, awkward, amazing short meeting. So much I wish I could have said, and still hold hope that I will be able to one day tell her face to face.

He is about 25lbs, still bf. Wearing 18m clothes. He learned how to climb stairs two weeks ago. Cruising everywhere. Will stand for a moment but no independent steps yet. Most impressionable moments were at family reunion in July when my aunt taught him to clap and my nephew gave him a napkin that he shredded while grunting loudly and turning beet red.

Yay I finally go here now!!
How big are they? Almost 19lbs
What are they wearing? Mostly 9 month stuff, a few 6 month stuff and some 12 month stuff
What are they doing? What aren't we doing -- we are walking, crawling, eating everything , talking, screeching
Picture if you want.
Share one of your favorite memories from this past year. I honestly can't pick one-- but I love how impressed Alexis is with her self when she does something new. It's almost like Oh yea, no big deal. Lol
What are they wearing? Mostly 12-18m, she has some 2T shirts that fit okay. Size 2 shoes.
What are they doing? Dancing, saying uh oh, shaking her head no, imitating everything.
Picture if you want.Share one of your favorite memories from this past year. Probably the first time she said mama and actually meant it for me. She started babbling it around 7m but a few weeks ago, said it when I came in the room and then again an hour later. It's so amazing to me when she learns something new. I am amazed every time, and also a little sad that she gets bigger and smarter every day.
What are they wearing? 12 month everything, 18 month shirts and some 18 m pants but only certain brands, short legs like mama
What are they doing? Walking, climbing, dancing, trying to repeat everything
Picture if you want.
Share one of your favorite memories from this past year. Id say just watching her play. She's social and happy when we're around other kids and it's nice to sit back and see her interact when we are out.
20lb 13 oz and 30 in tall. With a head in the 90%. He's wearing 12 month everything except his socks are 24-36mo (he got really big calves).
He's walking, climbing stairs, says mama, dada, baby (we think it's for our dog), and a sound that he has decided is molly's name (ahead she comes to). He also knows more and milk. His favorite game is taking things out of bins and then throwing them back in (or throwing them in general). He's a super physical and happy baby.
He said mama for the first time on my incredibly shitty birthday so that's a pretty sweet memory. But really I just like thinking about how happy he gets when he sees me and how proud he is of himself when he does a new thing. He just gets this huge smile and looks at me like "did you see it?!" It's just awesome watching him learn new things.
A is 19lbs and 29 inches and wearing mostly 6 month clothes.
I feel like she's learning new things every single day. She says Mama, Dada, all done, banana, Big Bird, bye bye. She also mimics the car horn when we lock our cars, every time. It's hilarious.
She is understanding more and more too...she says bye bye when I pick up my keys and her diaper bag. When we tell her to clean up, she puts a toy in her basket. If we ask where something is, she'll point to it (her head, eye, belly, teeth, the birthday balloons).
No walking yet, but cruising and crawling.
I don't know if I can pick a favorite memory, but I have really enjoyed watching her relationship with my H grow. In the beginning she only wanted me and I know he felt a little left out. Now she reaches for him and laughs at him and they have their own little routines. It makes my heart explode.

H turned 1 on the the 21st, but we just had his check up today.
He's 25#, 33 inches. Wearing mostly 2T, shoes are 5s, and size 3 diapers.
He is walking/running, and into everything. Eats more than his big sister, waves, blows kisses, shakes head and no, claps, and points at things he wants. He's almost completely weaned now, and drinks wcm.
My favorite moment...I don't know! I love watching him with my daughter. He lights up when they're playing, and they recently started trying to hold hands in the car. It's incredibly adorable, and they both start giggling.
