People's real names are showing up instead of their screen names. Your personal info is possibly at risk.


Please go check your Bump account if you still have one. People's real names are showing up instead of their screen names. Not everyone, but quite a few. You might want to change your real name to your Bump name so no personal information gets out.

To do this: (on a computer), if you look in the upper righthand corner of the screen, it says "My Account." Click on that and you can change it there.

On mobile (not the app since I don't have that, but I would assume it's similar), click on "More" and then "my account."

I just double checked my account and I'm officially gone. I can't believe what a mess TB has become.

I deleted last week, well over 48 hours went by and I could still log in. Pretty much they deleted my content but not account. I emailed again. When I logged back in I saw my email, full name, everything. If anyone is over there and would search me to see what they see I would appreciate it. I have to stay away for 48 hours.

bantyrooster, I'm not seeing your stuff anywhere. It's mostly Karm, abseptember, heatherbee, MissMusic in terms of responses that I still see. Everyone else is pretty much gone.

I was just about to come over here and share this too! I saw it on the June 15 board just now.

I'm so glad they deleted my content and account as I requested. I googled it yesterday to check/test instead of just going to the site... After waiting for a week, just to be sure!

I wasn't a huge poster on the Bump so was indifferent on deleting my account. Now I am glad I did, that is scary!

mrsplaydoh, I couldn't even log in so if you can log in then they didn't get rid of your account. Maybe they just deleted your content.

Your not losing your mind. There was a glitch earlier where page 2 and 3 were the exact same posts. So maybe the board is just spazzing out?
