The good: 6 days of over 10,000!!
The bad: all the wine this weekend
The proud: three days of over 15,000! My best was 18,000!!
The plan: keep up the good work!
QOTD: I walk at night/evening when I can. I also swim (although that doesn't count for steps it's relaxing and exercise). I've also been known to go walk at the mall!
The Bad: Drank an entire bottle of wine last night by myself. It was a rough weekend.
The Proud: Down 18 pounds total.
The Plan: Sticking with the low carb thing at LEAST until ER.
QOTW: I try to avoid outdoor activities at all costs during the day during this crazy hot weather. I usually try to do stuff early in the morning because I am a super early riser.

So I guess I'll go...
The Good: 4 gym days, 4 puppy walk days
The Bad: GD D&D
The Proud: I got through a rough week without eating everything (our first angel would have been 2 on Wed, and Fri was 2 years since my Aunts fatal accident).
The Plan: 4 gym days, 4 puppy walk days and TRY to stay away from sweets (starting now)
Other....
So my two younger cousins have both done Jenny Craig. They've both lost a lot of weight and look amazing! My one little was over his past week and was telling me about it and the pricing. I love the idea of not having to think about what I'm going to eat. They just give you shit and you eat that. But idk if I can justify the cost. Especially since if we do another cycle it's all OOP now. I need to be saving every penny, not spending.
Have any of you ladies done JC? Or have thoughts about it?

Don't do it!!!!! The food they give you is really horrible for you. They use so many chemicals and lots of processed crap. You're way better off doing something like the 21 day fix where you portion out your own food (and use the good stuff). That is pretty much all those companies do. They work because people eat a lot less calories (and I know it's nice not having to think about what you eat) but it is really more about the quality of the food. I could rant for days about those companies...
The Bad: Everything. Since my ER last week, I've been eating like crap, and I'm not allowed to work out for another week. Not only can I not run or do my usual workouts, I was told to avoid sweating, so I can't do any kind of physical activity in this heat. Combine that with the fact that I've been bloated and sore and not wanting to even walk around, and I've been doing a whole lot of sitting on the couch for a week now.
The Proud: I'm only up 2 lbs...is that something to be proud of? haha I guess I'm just glad it's not worse.
The Plan: To get back to eating normally and start walking either outside when it's cooler on the treadmill when it's hot. Then, I'll hopefully get back to running next week.
QOTW: I try to run outdoors in the morning during the summer, but on the days that it's hot and muggy right from the get-go, I go to the gym to run on the treadmill or use the elliptical.

The good: I went back to the gym today for the first time since Sidney's death (12 weeks ago) The bad: I have been using the heat as an excuse not to walk. eating worse this week also--I finally got my period back for the first time and it's been emotionally really hard The proud: I am proud I went to the gym, even though I went to the further away branch, where I was less likely to run into anyone I know. The plan: Go to the gym one more time this week, walk with a friend twice, try to reach 10,000 steps three days, cry.

MissSally yeah. I'm not going to do it. I can't afford it anyway. Plus I know what I shouldn't be eating. I just need to NOT eat them!!!!!!!
bethkate only 2 lbs is amazing!! I quit checking myself. it usually takes me three weeks to get back to full speed at the gym. Just ease into it. I was told by both clinics I could walk, no one said anything about sweating...?
elephantmomma be kind to yourself Hun. We know how difficult it is to get back to doing things like going to the gym. It's a big deal and you need to be proud of yourself! One day at a time, one thing at a time. That's all we can ever do. So for today be proud you were able to go to the gym!
4furrypaws , Yeah, the nurse told me not to go for a walk outside when it's hot because I should try to avoid sweating. I think it goes hand in hand with drinking gatorade for the electrolytes after an ER. Whatever the purpose of trying to intake electrolytes is (I don't understand it completely), is the same reason why you don't want to be sweating too much.
