It's 3:33. R has been up since 11:20, H and I went to bed at 10pm. I'm so tired and have to work today so no nap for me. I don't know why he's awake and angry.
babys2015, Sorry for rough night :-(.. Seems like they get on a good streak and then they gotta keep you on your toes! Hope you are sleeping right now!
malvo, +24085742 to a birthday re-do, lady! More creepy hugs from me. I hope you can get a break or do something fun later this week/weekend!!
Sending coffee to tired mamas and healing powers to sick babies!
M was a hot mess last night. She eventually settled around midnight and was up with a poop at 5:45. She was pretty pleasant this morning. I have no idea what was/is wrong. Poor girl.
I'm anxiously waiting for the claims adjuster / estimator guy to call. He's supposed to reach out by 5pm. The trade-in value for my car is peanuts. I have a feeling they will total my car and I'll have to get a new one. This makes me sad. I love my car and it's paid off.
Stupid deer
But, overall, my day is going well. I'm out at 3:30, so maybe I'll break out the water table for M and the puppy pool for the dog.

babys2015 - Ugh. I'm so sorry FX R went down for you.
malvo - FX M has a good day and that things go well with your car. You absolutely need to plan your birthday again. Book zip lining for early September maybe and go out to eat. Act like its your birthday everywhere you go that day.
ladymike - Start working on your book deal containing all of your weird boss stories? How is your dizziness today?

My kid apparently put on a protest of having to wait for me to get him out of his crib this morning that involved taking off his shirt...
I'm not sure how he did it exactly because when I woke up to him fussing around, it was off...
H and I had a great night out with friends last night. Pizza, fried ravioli, all the Diet Coke (doesn't sound exciting but it really is after not having any during my 21 day fix), and then ice cream! We'll definitely be doing that more often with them. Maybe not out and all of the crappy food, but at least hanging out and having adult time.
Other than that, I'm simultaneously trying to kill myself by barely sleeping, and constantly freaking out by checking the LLR queue and trying to guess our onboarding date. No one warned me that this would be so freaking exciting!
malvo, glad you're feeling better today! I'd be all, "FUCK IT. NOT LEAVING THIS BED." Haha! +1 to not wanting a car payment ever again, so I hope they can fix 'er up! I don't like my car but it is PAID OFF. That is a luxury I do not want to give up!
portuguesemama, yep, all better! IT'S JUST SO DAMN HOT. I'm chugging water like a boss, I think that was part of it. I've heard people are onboarding extra fast.. like, 4 weeks!! GET READY!!!!

ladymike - I have seen that as well!! I'm trying to get all of the digital stuff done and have been holding off on ordering materials yet (less free mailing supplies). I'm hoping to do that next week so FX I can get it all in time!!
portuguesemama Glad you had such a nice night! And I'm glad that you treated yourself. I can't stand the people who clutch their pearls over Diet Coke. I once posted a FB picture of me drinking Diet Coke while pregnant. BAD THINGS HAPPENED.
Also, SO has expressed interest in the zip lining adventure, but he wants to do it when it's not "hot as balls." So we're going to plan a group trip on September or October! And maybe add some go-karting.

malvo - One a day while pregnant every single day. Love me some Diet Coke! And yes to zip lining!! I'm glad your SO is on board with you.
jnow - Shade of some sort. Always assume you as the parent will get soaked all the time. Plan to chase your kid the whole time. Lots of snacks and water. But really we had a blast and N LOVED everything from digging in the sand to running straight into the waves. FX your LO loves it too.
jnow, Congratulations!!! So excited for you. On the beach stuff, we just took a blanket and umbrella and a few toys. LG wanted to be in the water and A wanted to lay in the shade. portuguesemama, too funny that N took his shirt off. A has started doing that in the crib when she's mad. She's even managed to get her pants off. Oh and yay for LLR! I'm tired and cranky today. I stepped in a hole yesterday and today I'm sore. Nothing terribly exciting going on here. Trying to stay out of the heat. Oh, we did get 2 horses on Sunday! A is in love.

jnow - Shovels were good because digging holes near the waves and splashing in the water that filled them was nice. He was semi contained. Other that that, maybe one bucket because N liked to destroy the 'sand castles' we made. And yes, grandparents help for sure!
bekbek - Pants off scare me because that means access to take off a diaper, which I dnw. Haha. How exactly did you step in a hole? I saw your pictures of the horses! They're beautiful!
Went to get A from her crib this morning. More puke. Seriously. WTF.
She seemed so good by the evening yesterday and held everything since breakfast down. At some point during the night or morning threw up a bunch. I feel awful she's laying in a crib of puke too. But she hasn't made a peep while sleeping. Ughhhhh.
Into the bath we went. Now she's having toast and a few sips of milk. She seems in a pleasant mood so far. I just want my baby to be better and stop throwing up.
sjep922 Is she congested at all? Wondering if laying down and sinus drippage is causing an upset stomach at night. Poor girl needs to catch a break!
She's not congested at all! I wondered the same thing. But she is totally normal other than sporadic puke. No fever. She will typically be lethargic first thing in the morning and get better throughout the day.

Walking out the door to take Jo to the babysitter and poop. Everywhere. It was actually poop water. So I'm home with both. Jo feels fine, just has lots of poop water. Called the pedi and she said do the BRAT diet and cut out milk/dairy until it clears up. So she is running around like a maniac and Max is being a baby.
graciest719, oh no! I feel your pain on trying to mop. So hard with 2. I hope Jo feels better soon and you aren't having to clean up poop too long. portuguesemama, I was walking in a pecan orchard and trying to write and walk. I stepped and found a hole just big enough for my leg and deep enough I sank to my knee. It was amusing at the time but oh goodness my neck hurts today.
