I downloaded the app after I had DS. I was always looking for a reason to explain why he was so difficult. I still have the app and I've put in DD's info, but I don't think I'll look at it much this time. Babies are weird and constantly changing and there are about a million different reasons why they act the way they do. It does have some cool info though.

We used the app for DD1 and I thought it was pretty accurate/right on. We could definitely notice sleep and fussiness changes with the storm clouds. So far DD2 is prettt even tempered so I don't know if we'd use it as much
I have the app. Please feel free to ask and ill screenshot a week if you are curious if you're going through a leap. I like it because it suggests things to do with baby after the leap. Like they can now grasp toys do put them in arms reach, etc.
vlinder I'm glad you asked this cause I was going to download it until I read reviews that you have to do a bunch of in app purchases to see stuff now. I think I may hold off for now.

Really? I paid initially for the app, but I haven't had to buy anything else and I can see tons of information.
They were always spot on with DS1. I didn't have the app (I'm not even sure they had an app back then) and just followed the email updates they sent which were usually pretty helpful. DS2 is constantly cranky anyway so I haven't paid much attention this time, but still think it's worth looking into.

That's what the reviews said and I got worried I would pay for something that required more purchases! It's nice to know your experience is different! Maybe I will buy it now... Why am I agonizing over a $2 app 😆

Right? I'll spend $$ on all sorts of other things but dither about spending a couple bucks on an app.
I downloaded it this time but I am skeptical-it did make me feel better when he was going through a really rough time at 5/6 weeks though.
This is me too, I have it, but I don't take it too literally. But when their fussiness does align with the app it makes me feel better to think there is some reason and it won't last forever however, there are plenty of times that don't align with what the app says as well.

I bought it. I can see what people were talking about with in app purchases, but that is only if you want chapters of the book which I don't feel you need cause there is lots of other info. I think I will be glad to have it cause even if it's not perfect, some info in there is already nice to have!

This exactly. It's comforting to have a reason to explain periods of fussiness or sleep issues so I'll take anything I can get for those times, but things are constantly changing anyway so I try to keep that in mind all of the time, this too shall pass.
I remember reading about them with DD1 but never had an app. I'm tempted to get it this time because I love a reason for fuss/no sleep/constant nursing . Which app am I supposed to get?

It's called The Wonder Weeks and it definitely made me feel better about her non-stop fussiness today!
