We had our first appointment today and it's really happening! The baby was moving around a bunch and she skipped the pap because I had one in March. Today was a great day!
Speaking of food- is there anything you ladies are avoiding? I have been extremely lax about the food restrictions this time. I feel a little guilty after eating steak tartare at a party and I am thinking I should rein it in.
I've been craving sushi and had it twice already, but the OB nurse specifically said meat/fish should be fully cooked. She was lax on literally everything else so I'm going to cut out the raw fish
notagoddess I'm thinking I'll cut out raw meat/fish too, starting now lol. When I ate the raw beef I was so busy fake drinking I forgot about food no-nos! I've also had raw sushi... Geeze, with my first I didn't even eat deli meat!!!
I also really need to wean off the coffee. I'm putting that here in writing so I'll actually do it.

Cutting back on caffeine, i usually get my meats well cooked when I order them from a restaurant. If it's beef at home I eat it medium still (because I know where it came from and all that). Um, I don't eat raw fish or tuna, so that's irrelevant to me.

Last time I did so much research on raw milk and listeria risks because I love raw milk. I ended feeling pretty safe about it. And then got sick from bacteria in the raw milk (not listeria thank goodness). So after that I decided it was actually too risky. Sadly.
@jacks605 - Going to a better equipped facility is not abnormal for the 20 week scan. Our office doesn't have the equipment to do super detailed u/s so we have to go to the local hospital to have the 20 week AS. Don't be alarmed just yet
I'm at the same OB as LO1 and my 20 week was there. So that was why it stood out to me. OB did say that for my type of twins (Di-Di) she does them here. She will send other types to the specialists.
