I work today and my husband starts his week off. I'm getting ready in our bathroom around 5 this morning when all ofa sudden I hear my toddler crying in our bedroom. He's asking for mommy, so I figure H is trying to console him. All of a sudden J bursts through the door, still sobbing. I expect to see H following to get him back in bed. Nope. Still snoring away blissfully in bed. So I put my son back to bed and was late leaving for work. How the hell does one sleep through a toddler literally screaming in your ear???
Too busy already this week. My boss is on vacation so I had to do the orders by myself. And it was the H's birthday yesterday so I did some running around for that. I didn't have any time on here yesterday!
Happy cake day on Wednesday. Also, I used my waffle maker for the first time after your insistence that everyone should have one. I'm in love. Thank you bibliothecary , my pants will never fit again.
Oh man I need to get outlet covers. I got some crappy ones at IKEA and well, you get what you pay for. I was playing gum ball machine when I was 2 or 3 and I stuck a penny in the outlet. Loud boom, set the wall on fire. Everyone was fine but I was so scared I didn't talk for days. I have very vague memories of this.
Hi Elf! Just checking in again bc your girl was delivered Saturday! If you're in the gift exchange and haven't gotten a gift yet, it should be on your front porch! Maybe you're waiting until LO's bday to open. 😊

It's been a great week so far. Yesterday E and I went to the splash pad with friends. We took a walk. He slept a lot. Then last night I met some friends for a movie. If you have not seen Bad Moms I highly recommend it. It's hilarious.
Today we've been relaxing. I'm hoping to take E on a stroller walk later.

@ampants I'm sorry you are in limbo. I hope you hear neck about other jobs soon. I worked for a company that fired people for missing goals too. It sucks because in some situations it's out of your control.
I also have a diapering question. Littlest has had a diaper rash. I've tried A&D which did nothing. Bourdeux's usually clears up it. It will look better but then it's back. Now it looks red and bumpy. I'm looking at a yeast rash, aren't I? What should I use?
Hi. I'm a day late. Did you ever have thrush? The nystatin they gave me for that is the same exact thing they prescribed for a yeast diaper rash.
