I am at work so don't want to be here. Woke up with a migraine. It is gone for now. Af this weekend so I am just blah and I am tired of my hb asking what's wrong. I told him umpteen times last night nothing. Af is coming and it is my blah month.
@megaugust10 All the chocolate for you. I hope you're feeling better soon.
AFM: M is back to school today. She still has snot, but no more fever and she's got pep in her step! FX she has a good day.
Her words and animal noises are really taking off. She now does "Moo," "Meow," and "Arf" (puppy bark) on command. I'll have to find out what other animals school is working on so we can repeat at home. Her new thing is to answer with "Yeah" when you ask a question. It's adorable. It's either "Yeah" or she shakes her head no. We're also getting "mommy" and "stinky."
She'll be moving over to the toddler class as soon as the director gets everything in order. The director said M is definitely ready and gets mad when stuck with the older infants. Yay, M!
babys2015, those boys like to keep you on your toes ;-). Hope they're back to the good sleep now!!
@megaugust10, hope AF isn't too bad and you feel better soon!
malvo, Glad she's feeling better! I keep trying animal sounds but she doesn't get it! But I LOVE the YEAH! and the crazy head shaking for NO. Hahahha. It's adorable. Love all of this progress they're all making!
Holy shit, I just got out of bed at 1:00. I'm still nowhere near 100% but I ate some cereal and trying to sit up like a normal human. I have no idea what I've got but it hit me like a ton of bricks overnight.
So. Trying to catch up on life a bit here and then maybe lay down again before N is home from DC. I don't want to be sick all weekend :-(, that's the worst!!

So I dropped a clothing rack on my hand last night. Like 4ft of momentum onto my index finger down into my hand and thumb. Getting a quick X-ray to make sure nothing is broken. While on my way here, DH calls and tells me that N has a fever of 103. N slept in yesterday until 11:30 and today until 10:30. Apparently he's got chattering teeth, goosebumps, and doesn't want to eat or drink, only wants to be held. He scarfed down all food yesterday like someone was going to steal it so I thought just a growth spurt, but the other symptoms - beyond lethargy and sleeping forever - I'm guessing not. Off to the pedi at 4:30 for that. We were supposed to have a low key weekend. Not any of this crap.
portuguesemama Yikes! Hopefully it's not the flu or something crazy. And GL with your hand! FX for a bad bruise and quick healing.
M apparently loves circle time at DC. Who knew? That is where she's learning a lot of this stuff and then we reinforce at home. Both SO and I were not the best scholars (my issue was my lack of attention span and boredom). She apparently grabs her book and sits down and listens quite intently. I wish they'd take pictures because it sounds obnoxiously cute.

No fractures for me so yay to that. Also gave my FB group address to the nurse and dr on a sticky note because I don't have business cards here yet! So if you want to market LLR, just injure yourself doing it and wear LLR to the urgent care. Haha. Off to the pedi for N now.

flat0422 - We haven't had issues with any of our strollers doing that in the three minutes N will actually sit in one... Ha. All kidding aside though, we don't have that stroller but ours don't do it - we have the graco click connect one from our car seat system, a baby trend jogger, and a cheap Babies R Us brand smaller one. What is the mechanism for holding it up?

N probably has what DH has had all week but he got tested for strep because his throat was so red. His fever was down to 99.5 after nap and an hour later in the office was back up to 100.5 so we'll be (safely but) heavily medicating him. Haha. FX it's a quick healing for him.
Holy hell its empty in here today. Where is everyone?
I got my black Madison in the mail today and IM SO IN LOVE. Its a great staple piece. Looks great over the Julia and I cant wait to try it on over my classic Ts and irmas. Its amazing. Its probably not something Id buy multiple of because i love the simple black, it can be paired with just about anything. But I vote its a must have staple!
flat0422 we dont have that stroller, but did rent it at WDW. Thats as upright as the seat went for is, too.
Hai! My brain is mush, I'm tired and anxiety is up. H wants sex and I want sleep!! And I want to watch the opening in Rio, but he hasn't come to turn on the tv for me.
We had a busy day. Declan chose bowling as his fun outing today and we followed it up with a trip to toys r us and lunch. He's off with gramma and papa for the night.
More fun tomorrow! ruemorgan and graciest719 no judging if my house isn't clean Sunday! I have no idea when I'll be able to fit it in!!
flat0422 i have a stroller that did the same- didn't sit up all the way even when strap was pulled. I wonder if there is another way, Velcro straps or something, that you could attach to the frame after pushing the seat forward.
rvamama girl i will never judge how clean or messy your house is. Because my house is messy 99% of the time, haha. Like MIL always says, "this house isnt from a magazine, this house is LIVED in!" I hope you can get some rest tonight!
OMG. You guys. We bought M a $10 baby doll from Target and it was love at first sight.
1. We put it on the conveyor belt (so we could pay for it) and she kept pointing and repeating "baby." The Target lady let M hold the doll while she scanned the box.
2. She screeches if you touch her baby.
3. She tried to feed her baby milk! Like, took her sippy of milk, held it up to the baby's lips, and made pretend sucking noises.
ruemorgan and ajacot924 We picked up the Baby's First Classic Baby Softina. It isn't super creepy and it won't freak me out if I stumble upon it in the MOTN.
It started as a way to teach M to be nice to the younger kids in her room. She attached to the idea of a baby doll really quick. I should have gotten one sooner!
