1-I am looking forward to going to work tomorrow. I haven't worn makeup, real pants, or a bra since Friday. I also haven't left the house since Saturday AM. Yay snow! 2- we just booked a trip to FL in April and now I'm paranoid that snow makeup days will dip into April vacation. 3- DS is a morning person. I am not. ETA geesh I sound crabby today! I promise I'm not!
1. Why is it when men get sick, it's so much worse than when women get sick? I had the stomach flu and during my sick day had to pick up DS from DC because he got it too and then had to take care of him. DH got the stomach flu and the world has ended. 2. Every winter I wonder why I live in the northeast. 3. It's only Tuesday and I'm already counting down til the weekend.
1) Single momhood is killing me. Having to act as both parents and work is so hard. I need a break. 2) Just booked a Colorado vacation for later this month- it can't come soon enough. 3) I just got a new car, a Lexus ES350 and I'm loving it.
1. I was going to go to my moms meetup today but the group is so large and it's indoors at a chick-fil-a that i think i am just going to skip it.
2. It bums me out that the only times I've been able to go back to Missouri over the past 7 years are due to friends and family ailing or having died.. and here I go again. I really need to change this..
3. I started taking melatonin to kick my zzzquil habit but now I'm groggy? wtf.
1- so bored at work, gone from one extreme for the last 3 months to another 2- parent/teacher meeting at daycare has me a little upset about working and not being at home working on DD's skills 3- her pedi appointment is tomorrow so fortunately I don't have long to wait to go over concerns
1- We were up for 3 hours in the middle of the night last night. At the end, I actually went for a walk outside to get away from crying and calm myself down. I have a lot of respect for people who sleep train in apartments- there is no where to go to get away from crying :-( 2 - we were up probably because DS has another icky cold and his nose and eyes are super gunky. If he has another ear infection I'm going to scream!! 3 - we move into our new house this weekend!!!!!! Can't wait to get out of this temporary apartment and back into a normal routine again!
1. I'm headed to the airport in a few hours for a 2 night business trip. I'm both dreading and looking forward to it (see points 2 and 3). 2. I'm dreading it because the pumping and flying/traveling is annoying. My pumping/milk storage paraphernalia could take up a whole suitcase. Plus, I had to write a novel for DH to know how to take care of LO and when I went over everything with him, I know he wasn't really listening and was making jokes. I just know I'm going to get a bunch of frantic calls/texts. I told him he is going to be SOL because I will be busy. He should have taken it seriously. 3. I'm looking forward to it because I get to sleep in my own bed with no chance of being woken up by my DH, dog, or baby. I get to sleep in the day I fly home! Also, I get to have dinner with some friends who I haven't seen in a year.
1. I am worried about DD not doing everything she should be or if it's ok that she isn't doing them yet.
2. I am worried I will be stuck at this shitty job for another year. There are just no jobs to be found!
3. DH is going to a conference for 4 days at the end of the month. I am afraid it will snow and I won't be able to get out because I can't shovel with DD inside alone and our neighbors suck and won't do it.
1. I've been sick for a week now. It's starting to get better but strep throat is no joke! I have no voice.
2. I'm so afraid Chloe is going to get it. Apparently it's almost unheard of for babies to get strep but still, it's scary.
3. I'm looking forward to Saturday. DH just told me yesterday that he reserved tickets last week for us to go see Fifty Shades. Of course, I know I'll hate the movie but the curiosity is getting the best of me. Now... Who is going to watch DD on Valentine's Day?!?

1) A month ago I hit the back of my heel on the basement steps and there's a round black mark there that won't go away- doesn't hurt just ugly looking 2) I need a professional pedicure- my at home ones are nice but not the same 3) I need to dye my hair but I have no clue what color

@northface, febreeze or a scented candle? I love fish but we live in an apartment so I hate the lingering smell in our small place. I must have good smelling candles in our place at all times.

1. DH accidentally bought scented kitchen trash bags. I didn't realize this until I opened them and they stink. He bought a huge box and now I'm stuck with them.
2. I'm feeling really sad today that LO is our last. I was 100% sure we were done with our own, but it still feels sad. I hope that we can adopt in the future.
3. In some bizarre moment of willpower I deleted my cakes board on Pinterest. What was I thinking? I am starting a new cakes board.
1. I am working on a presentation for work, it's supposed to be 20 mins, I think I am maybe at the 15 minute mark but I don't have a ton left to put in it (I'm just making a community presentation so I don't want to go into crazy detail). So I am sitting here wondering if I can just stretch out the slides and add some fluff to my talking points. Also, I'm tired.
2. I messed up dates for a girls weekend away. And now have to look into April, which is a crazy month for me. I currently have an email in draft to said girlfriend and the husband because I am proposing the weekend before our wedding anniversary and the babes first birthday!
3. I am feeling really anxious about this presentation. It's my first one since starting this new job. And while I am very comfortable with public speaking I am just worried about not hitting the mark....ugh, along with the tired, my head is fuzzy.
1. We were supposed to get six inches of snow today... we got maybe a dusting. I'm actually jealous of all the snow out east, this year has stunk for snow and I enjoy my seasons and the pretty snow makes the cold weather tolerable. 2. Found out yesterday that DD is 30'' and now its time for a new car seat. I have done some research but have a lot more to do before Saturday when we go buy new car seats. Makes me anxious, am I picking the right one!? 3. Last week at work was crazy and I had no time for my normal lunch run in our gym so no running for over a week, now my legs are killing me and I am irritated that my times aren't right where I left off.
1. I've been up since 4:45am because I had a breakfast meeting to attend and now it is almost 5pm and I am surprisingly alert! Must be all those middle of the nights with DD that has got me trained.
2. I am co-leading my company's Career Moms group and we have our first event tomorrow, hopefully it goes smoothly.
3. I'm on the train to go home right now and the train is late which makes me sad because then I have less time to spend with DD.

1) today is the first day I left the house since Thursday. 2) I wish I could babywear both kids so I didn't have to push a stroller in all the snow. 3) I still haven't requested my account be deleted on TD. I'm having a hard time letting it go.
1. All this snow keeps us inside and its getting boring 2. Wtf Canada not letting me watch my two shows online now... Come on these are my only two I keep up with 3. This new eating habit is tough but down 4 lbs in 5 days
1. It bothers me that "three" & "Tuesday " don't start with the same sound.
2. DD is still sick so my older brother (with basically zero baby experience) stayed with her so I didn't have to take a sick day. They both survived and he told me they "played 'look in the mirror' and learned rap music".
3. DD started clapping on command today. I was super excited because she still isn't crawling, sitting up from laying down, and has only pulled up twice (barely). But we've got clapping!

Yay clapping! How cute! DD just laughs when we clap! She does give high fives though!

What is the event?
It's a luncheon with a panelist discussion with 6 of our senior executive women. They will share insights on balancing work, kids, family and dispel myths about career progression, etc. It's our re-launch event because the group has been dormant for a few years and we're trying to breathe new life into it. Going forward, we will likely hold quarterly lunches with various speakers and networking opportunities. The purpose is really about keeping the women in the firm connected and providing support.

But three and things start with the same sound.
True. I stand corrected.....but Three Things Thursday would really make me happy then
