1st Birthday Planning Thread Updates

DoesItComeInPink, being in a similar situation, I like the idea of the church personally. More control over the food, moving the party away from the restaurant brings the focus away from food, and then you can eat. Although I know that means more work for you how many people are we talking? Could you have the party not at a meal time?

We are doing a 1pm-3pm party serving lunch, but I know some others are doing mid-afternoon parties with finger foods.

There aren't any restaurants I can eat at.

I'm sorry. In that case, I agree with byjove that maybe the church idea is better where you have control over the food. Whether it's a full meal or just finger foods, at least you would be able to eat as well.
