I'm off today, the kids are in camp, and L is out of town for work. I went grocery shopping, drove 45 each way to the Talbots surplus store (got 4 pairs of pants for $40) but didn't get the shirts for work or dress for a baby shower which is really why I went. I'm getting a pedicure now and then will pick up the kids and meet swim team friends at the County fair (L is so happy I'm taking them. She hates fairs.. I love them!)

cetcar - I was thinking the same thing about how quiet the board seems... Granted I've only been around for a little over a week but definitely different than last week! Have a great flight home! (I have recently joined the nervous flyer group too, so I totally hear you!)
Waiting for the nurse to call with next steps on a test day DRIVES ME INSANE!!!!!! I can barely focus on what I need to be doing (grad school work stuff). Also, I was just looking at my actual calendar and the number of free days before I am back to school is insanely small, so also freaking out about that at the moment. lol.
Me: 32, Wife: 38, Together for 5 years, Married for 2 years IUI #1 (8/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Crinone = BFN IUI #2 (9/2016): Letrozole, Ovidrel, Endometrin = BFP!! EDD 5/26/17
I'm hoping it's quiet bc people are busy for the summer.
My mom has a huge surgery Wednesday and I'm nervous. I'm worried that her body is just not strong enough to heal itself. Long story short the surgery is to take out feet of bad intestines and colon from her first cancer surgery and subsequent radiation, reattach everything and hope it heals. She can't take any narcotic pain meds so she'll be using an epidural block. Last surgery it didn't work very well so she's requested a new anesthesiologist.
We should get our PGS results this week too.
All in all this week I'll likely need to take a few of my Xanax. It's been months since I needed any so that's good.
Me: 31 Wife: 30. Legally married 2008, thanks CA! TTC #1 since 11/14 using donor sperm. IUIs Jan-Aug 2015 BFN Sept & OCT 2015 added Femara. BFN Saw RE December 2015. rosesquared, waiting to hear results or the next step when TTC can be so consuming. Hope you've heard by now. I have a little mantra I tell myself during turbulence. Basically it's reminding myself that it's normal and that it's more of a nusence for the pilots than a problem.
@justjudy, sending good thoughts you way this week. Sounds like you've got a lot going on. And yes, hopefully it does mean people are enjoying summer!
@suesposa, assuming you're still pregnant, hope you're enjoying feeling all the kicks from the inside while you still can.
Take off wasn't nearly as bumpy and I was expecting with all the rain and cancelled flights. Also, doesn't help that the hotels were boarding up big windows in preparation for the storm that I think it made me think it was worse than it was. Lucky we weren't on the later flight, those people won't be able to leave until Thursday. We're home until we head to Santa Fe next Wednesday.

Total = $103 for 3 hrs of hot, dusty fun 😳
Omg yes! R and I actually got engaged at a small town fair that we had first gone to when dating and spent an abnormally large amount of money at! R even proposed at the game that we rediculously spent a ton of money at that year. My response: "you're doing this here?!" LOL. But after my shock it was in fact perfect! So we are totally with you in your love of fairs even if they are horrible for our wallets!

Thanks cercar!! I also panicked way more on a flight when the pilot warned us it might be bumpy and then it turned out to be pretty smooth. I think knowing a storm was coming and seeing the preparations would have also made me a little extra unhappy about flying. Glad the flight wasn't bad and you're home safe!

rosesquared, oh yes, I never like hearing that the flight attendants have been asked to stay seated for longer during take off. CET was telling me how much more important visibility and weather are when landing.
