1. I think I have an appt this morning. It's on my calendar but I don't think I got a reminder. 2. I got to STTN last night! We've had a few times now and it's been refreshing. She did not sleep at all the night before. 3. More than having a 1yo, I'm reeling over the whole fact that my big kid starts K in 3 weeks. 4. My grandmother turns 96 in 10d. Crazy. 5. I'm excited to do some stuff with just C once school starts. 6. We could have walkers very soon-- freak out commence! 7. Maybe I should install our baby gates on the stairs. 8. DH had his V scheduled. Im not sure how to feel. 9. Summer goes too quickly here. Nights are starting to cool down and that's sad. 10. I actually do need to figure out my older kid's bday next month. Oops. She has it all planned out...

DoesItComeInPink No such thing as overusing the a/c!! Dr. Seuss books are toooooo long for bedtime books. Give me a book with one sentence per page, please.
1. Stupid construction got me into work 45 min late. 2. I also wish it would rain! Our lawn is brown and dying, we can only water it so much! And I want cooler weather so I can spend more time outside with C. 3. The PBK Halloween catalog came in the mail yesterday. Shut up and take my money!! 4. I start training for my half marathon next week. Eeeek!! 5. I thought my outfit for work today was going to be so cute, it was when I planned it out in my head. Instead I feel frumpy and uncomfortable. Sigh. 6. I got my Paraguard in two weeks ago and MH and I still haven't DTD. This weekend, maybe? 7. I have been obsessively checking the latest presidential polls. I wish the election was right now. 8. I *think* I've lost enough weight to fit into a few pairs of pants I bought a while back (bigger than my pre-pregnancy size, but smaller than what I'm wearing now) but I'm afraid to try and be disappointed. 9. We just got a wi-fi monitor and I can view from my phone. Love looking at my lil guy sleeping in his crib! 10. I tried but I'm just so uninterested in the summer Olympics.
1. Traveling with a baby is hard and we brought a lot of stuff. 2. My mom is irritating me- she kind of guilt tripped my sister and me for not inviting her to visit this weekend. I like to do stuff with just my sis sometimes! Shouldn't she want that? 3. My vacation is almost over. 4. A might be getting his helmet off tomorrow and I'm happy and a little sad. 5. H and I finally had a breakthrough Saturday night. We've been struggling a bit and I feel like I was finally able to put into words what I was feeling. 6. Adulting is hard. We're trying to refinance our house and get a loan to do some projects and it's a lot of paperwork and waiting. 7. I'm excited for new siding, but wish we could remodel the bathroom instead. 8. Our first overnight away from A was mostly successful. 9. I need some new fall clothes for work and I am dreading shopping. 10. I'm really hopeful that my request for adjusted work hours will be approved.
1. I really need my hair cut...but I don't think I have time to go get it cut until September 2. I have so much work to do that it's overwhelming to think about starting 3. I got my paraguard in february and H and I have still not DTD (geners) 4. I need to make an appointment with my chiropractor 5. I have watched exactly none of the olympics, and I don't care 6. H and I may have to take our contractor from last summer to small claims court 7. I'm way too into bitmojis 8. I'm impressed that I've actually stayed on top of all the veggies coming out of my garden this year 9. I probably just jinxed myself 10. It's 10:31 and I will be eating my lunch in exactly 29 minutes.

geners You have to tell us if you pick a PBK costume for C! My oldest was the owl last year and I'm pretty sure it will fit again this year if she wants to wear it again. We got lots of compliments at the school party last year! DS was the generic super hero. I wasn't impressed with the quality of that one but he did look cute. I think I want the baby to be a pumpkin. So classic.
obscurereference, I'm torn. I have always envisioned any child I have being a pumpkin for their first Halloween - so classic and adorable! and PBK has a really cute one. But all their animals are so adorable. I think MH and I narrowed it down to like 5 costumes, lol.

1. I can't wait for our new furniture to get here. 2. I am equally excited about getting the floors deep cleaned. 3. I am ready for this baby to start moving! 4. I am ready for school to start tomorrow. Pre-K! Not sad at all. 5. DS is really starting to talk a lot, putting two words together. I am so relieved that we aren't going to have to do speech therapy with him. At least not at this point. 6. The kids also start gymnastics next week and I think they are really going to love it. DD1 will do a class with no parents and DS and I will do a class together. 7. We booked a trip to Disney for mid-October. I hope it's not too hot. I'll wish the baby wasn't moving for that! 8. I'm not feeling good today. Caught the cold that DD brought home from camp. 9. I'm nervous about TTC and Zika. We're supposed to go to a wedding out side of Miami in November. Will not be going if I'm pregnant. I feel bad. We missed this cousin's sister's wedding because I was two days from my due date with DS and now we might miss again. I really want to go. DH doesn't want me to go at all but I don't know how we'll explain not going if I'm not pregnant. 10. I've been enjoying the olympics. DD1 seems to like volleyball. It's fun talking with her about all the sports.
1. I want to love the Olympics, but I just can't any more. 2. Plans for M's first birthday are completely up in the air right now. My friend might be calling off her wedding that is scheduled for December, so it is a bit of a cluster at the moment. 3. We were supposed to go to Disney at that time too, but now I'm not sure. 4. We have M's EI eval tomorrow. She's made progress in the last week so I'm sure she won't qualify, but DH wants to go anyway. 5. DH has been "making" the bed in the morning. It's a miracle! 6. Now that he is doing better... maybe one morning he'll be the first to get out of bed with M 7. I am running late to leave to get the girls! EEp 8. Must think faster 9. I say it a lot but the people I work with are awesome 10. My period is late (it skipped a month when it came back with C, so I'm not surprised) but I feel like I'm having every PMS symptom in the book and my body needs to decide if it is happening or not. What happened with your contractor?
I keep thinking we may need to go this route with the company that laid new sod in our backyard last year... we've given them multiple opportunities to fix what they did and they haven't...

Haha. Our contractor signed a contract that projects (finishing basement and installing new Windows) would be finished within 90 days of starting (August 1, 2015). We reasonably extended things at the end of November (snow, cold, etc) but right now I have a bay window with a temporary roof (plywood and black plastic), a kitchen window that needs to be installed, and an access point for our sump-pump that needs to be cut in the basement. He's been paid for part of that work, he's a friend who also had a D15 baby so we paid him the final payment on the basement and bay window on good faith that he'd be back in the spring to finish them. I've sent at least one message a week for several months (via voicemail, text message, Facebook, and email) and he's ignoring us. It's been dragged out because he's a friend, but the last message I sent asked him to get in touch with us within the week...so I think we've basically run out of options besides suing him to repay us for work not finished (or to pay someone else to finish it...or something and to pay associated legal fees)...I've got some messages out with small claims lawyers. Now the bigger headache is that we can't find another contractor who is willing to take over these half done projects.

@tifga Don't waste energy thinking that you're a slacker mom. First, you aren't. And second, your baby will not remember nor will she care about what happens for her 1st birthday. Or her 2nd for that matter. 1st birthdays are solely for the benefit of the parents. Make her a cupcake, stick a candle in it, take some pictures. Done!
1. I'm a sucker for the Olympics. I love it. 2. Every time the Olympics is on, I get sucked into a new sport that I never knew I could be excited about. This year it's fencing. 3. My husband and I have decided what our family Halloween costume will be this year, and I'm really excited to start looking for pieces to complete it! 4. Approximately 75% of Audrey's toys so far have come from garage sales that my dad frequents. She has way too many, but at least we haven't broken the bank! 5. My H and I are currently doing a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon style ongoing movie marathon - we take turns picking the next movie that has to have an actor/director in common. We're dorks. 6. I've been considering weaning A from BFing because I hate pumping so damn much, but I also really don't want to spend the big bucks on formula. 7. I also cannot seem to lose any weight without tanking my supply, and I really need to lose 20lbs to feel remotely healthy or like myself again. 8. I need to shop for a new TV stand that hides wires better in preparation for a mobile infant 9. I'm hanging out with one of my best friends in the area tomorrow to just veg with our babies and watch the Olympics, and I'm irrationally excited about it. 10. This 10 things always reminds me of this:
I keep thinking we may need to go this route with the company that laid new sod in our backyard last year... we've given them multiple opportunities to fix what they did and they haven't...

And I'm now officially reaching out to a lawyer because the bank just asked us if construction has been completed and I had to send them yet another message saying that we have done nothing. sooooo pissed. H and I got 100% taken advantage of by this "friend" who took our money and left us up a creek
