I remember talking about fleas a few days ago but did we talk about how to get them out of your house?? Not just off the animals? I found 4 today from the darn cats. They have been treated but now I saw them jumping on my couch! UGH anyone have any advice?
I'm sleeping like ass lately and trying to wean off of using unisom. I just feel like I'm constantly awake looking at the clock waiting for it to be morning. And then morning comes and I'm exhausted.
Argh!
Girl why would you wean off unisom this late in the game?? Get your sleep on while you can! The inability to sleep is only going to get worse from here!
Contractions, I've had a few, but nothing timeable.
The 2 evenings leading up to the night I went into labor, I started getting pretty intense contractions, but they were maybe 20min-an hour apart and I was able to sleep both nights without noticing them.
The night I went into labor, they woke me up from sleep because they were pretty uncomfortable and really felt different. It's hard to describe the difference in feeling, but you'll know it for sure!
When you get to the point where you can time them, a great app to use is "Full Term". You want to look for them getting "longer, stronger, and closer together" (that's what my doula hammers into me)
Here are a few pics of my last contractions if this helps make it make sense. I started timing around 2ish then stopped around 8 when they told me to come in to confirm labor. At that point is wasn't worth my time and focus anymore.
This isn't all of them but you can kind of see the consistency. Mine didn't get closer together until later that afternoon, but they built in intensity and and they maintained consistency.
Hope this is somewhat helpful. Sorry it's so long!

I know - rookie move. I just have been feeling super groggy and gross when I wake up on the mornings I take unisom. Clearly it's a no win situation as most of the end of pregnancy is!!SaveSave

I remember early labor feeling just like period cramps but coming with some consistency. My back labor didn't start until I was many hours into labor. My back labor also didn't start as pain but intense pressure at my butt like I was going to poop the baby out.
And am I the only crazy one who will be working up until I go into labor? I get 12 weeks off and it starts when I stop working. If I were to take off work now, I wouldn't get much time with the baby once she's born so... "Sorry about your chair, client, my water just broke."

Thanks ladies. I just got off the phone with one of my cousins - they're including a single white rose with her flower arrangements labeled "future great grandma" for the little guy inside me.

I'm working right up until the end too. Same situation - 12 weeks off, starts the day I stop working. Want to save all my time for when he's here.

I'm working until I go into labor. My water broke at work with my DS, so been there done that 🙈 hehe
LadyNymeria, so sorry about your grandmother, that's never easy even when it's not wholly unexpected. Hope you and your family can share some wonderful memories over the coming few days.
Ah crap. Just lost a little of my mucus plug, I'm pretty sure. I know it doesn't necessarily mean much, but together with my midwife saying baby's head is engaged and he's super low, plus the weird pains/pressure I've been having makes me get a bit of a feeing of déjà vu from last time. I'm 34+4 today and went in to labour at around 35+2 last time. I'm really really wanting to make it to 36 weeks so I can use the birth pool at the hospital during labour. Crossing my fingers so tight and hoping baby boy stays happily inside for another 2 weeks or so at least.
I'm pretty sure I've been losing bits of mine for about a week now. Have my first internal this Friday so I'm curious to see what she says. I am 36 weeks.
