What are you looking forward to ?

Okay - stolen from O16 but what are you looking forward to after our pregnancies?  This can be baby or non-baby related!

I'm looking forward to smelling the baby....omg do newborns smell so good. Plus their little cries are so cute (before they can really figure out how to belt it out).

I'm also looking forward to a margarita....for some reason I've been craving one big time lately.

Ahh yes, the smell! So great!

Non-baby related, having a cocktail and/or delicious IPA.

Baby related, seeing DS be a big brother. I'm freaked out about it too, but so excited to watch their bond grow over the years. Hearing that first cry after birth, it's the best, most relieving, sound in the world.

Being able to eat carbs again. Coffee. Sugar.

Not having someone sitting a nerve that makes it feel like someone is punching me in the crotch.

Getting to dress Katie up in all her cute little outfits and take her to visit all the people that are so excited to meet her.

Being able to breathe again! I can't wait for the instant relief I'll feel after one baby is born, let alone the second.

But really, I can't wait to see what they look like. We've had so many ultrasounds and a few 3D shots and I think they're going to look just like DD1...I guess we'll find out!

I'm excited to see him and I'm hoping he looks a little like me, since C looks just like her dad.

I'm excited to bond with him. And to see C bond with him. I'm hoping she loves him.

ETA: I'm excited to not waddle any more. And to not have to deal with people obnoxious comments re my belly.

I'm excited to see DS1 and Little G play together when he's a bit older.

But I'm also anxious about having 2.

Wine! Especially champagne.

Working out. It's made me nauseous this whole pregnancy and I love the feeling after a good workout.

And seeing DD and the new baby bond. She is sooo excited to be a big sister.

Being able to fit in clothes again.

Alcohol...just in time for the wonderful Autumn ciders to come out.

I'm looking forward to breastfeeding a newborn again. I've been nursing a toddler for so long that I'm looking forward to this LO just laying there and sucking with none of the twisting and turning.

Spending time with my boys. Being able to lay on my stomach. Having my body back to myself, well minus nursing Fall beer and wine.

Also this is my last baby so moving on from a ttc mind frame. It's a little bittersweet but I'm ready.

I can't wait to hold her for the first time and see what she looks like.
Seeing DS with her for the first time as well as them growing up together.
So excited about having some wine soon, wearing normal clothes, and starting my cardio routine again.

Seeing the older kids with the baby, finding out what he looks like, being able to walk normally and exercise. This is our last baby, so I want to focus on really savoring the newborn stage/maternity leave.

Also, all the wine and beer. And I can't wait to wear normal clothes again.

+1 to all of this. I really can't wait to see how my H is with our LO. As much as I know he would have wanted a boy, I think he is going to be such a great dad to a girl, if that makes sense? I mean, he deals with me and my craziness so I'm sure dealing with her and her tantrums will be a walk in the park for him 😁

Watching my Dh with his little girl has been one of the greatest joys over the past two years. It's made me fall in love with a completely different side of him. I know your Dh will be smitten with her!
