It's my birthday, but most of the day didn't go as planned because baby. Oh well. We did a cute "no more helmet" photo shoot, so I'm thrilled to have new adorable photos. I have a feeling that if we ever have a second baby he/she will have about 1/3 of the photos that we have of A. that's normal, right? :)

13liza Happy Birthday!! I would say we have taken less pictures, but maybe more quality pictures of each additional kid. Less sleeping baby pictures for sure lol!
We went to the aquarium today. The kids absolutely loved it. I've never seen them have so much fun. Apparently it's much more fun than the zoo? Ok then. The baby was cooperative. She just wanted to look at all the people. Didn't care about the fish.

We had a pretty lazy day. R woke up with a rash. It's mostly just on his forehead and his lower belly. So maybe he had (has?) roseola or something like it. Then this afternoon while my back was turned for 2 seconds F did something that resulted in a huge bruised knot under R's eye. I didn't get the whole story but apparently F pulled R's foot and made him fall 'on his belly'. From the looks of the shiner R must have been standing when he fell. So between the rash and the bruise the poor thing looks rough.
We took C to MH's hometown for a barbecue with his aunt, cousins & some other family. It was fun but the drive was 1.5 hours each way, in the middle of the afternoon, and C only napped for 30 min on the way there and not at all on the way home. He normally sleeps really well in the car so we weren't expecting it to go like that. Ugh!
C has been trying out a lot of moves in the last day or so that make me think he's close to crawling and possibly pulling himself up!
C pulled himself up to a sitting position in his crib last night after falling asleep on his belly. Have never seen him do that, I think it was his first time! It was so trippy to check the monitor and see him sleeping, then check again a few minutes later and see him sitting up!
DoesItComeInPink We ditched the paci when we tried to switch from the 0-3M soothies to the 3m+ super soothies. LO didn't like the change and now prefers to suck on tags or blankets
